Do we have an "Awesome" thread yet?

I don't care what anybody says, this person is awesome! Come on, admit it, you've thought about it, HAVEN'T YOU? Okay, seriously though, I realize it poses a danger to others in traffic, but still looks fun though.

<blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="hXkpWiu"><a href="//imgur.com/hXkpWiu">F*** the system</a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Drive it like you stole it. :lmao:

Seems to be doing just fine. They may be on to something there on the dirt rather than the road.

That's all well and good until you come to a bridge abutment or a section of the highway that passes over another road. Besides, up here, all the medians are filled with rocks and trees.

Love his builds. Complete animal.

I saw this reboot of a test on the Honda ATC200X. If you have never had a chance to ride one you're missing out. So much fun.

LOL. 3 wheelers were a great culling tool. We had a 110 that refused to die. My uncles 250R was weeeetarded fast for 3 wheels.

They were so fun! The 200X wasn't fast, but I couldn't stop smiling when riding that thing.

3 wheelers were killed way too soon by the fun police.

That same uncle of mine still has two of those Big Reds...and still rocking the original Dunlops in the picture. Anal retentive doesn’t begin to describe how he treats them. He almost beat me once when I was a kid because he caught me on the pavement hauling ass. I’ll try to get a pic.

The reliability, durability, and capability of the Big Reds are legendary. Please so share those photos!

Probably not worthy to be posted here but these were my fun-machines and for an otherwise poor kid, they were about the most awesome things to ever exist on two wheels lol...

EDIT> Internet images/ not mine

My bit of "Awesome" came to me when Father and Mother took me to a little hole in the wall "sportshop", called Ozie's Sportshop.
It was a Gemini SST 50cc. Not a brand name, but it was the best made to me back then..."thumbsup"
I remember busting my hump working two years, and saved "everything" I earned to buy this Suzuki TS 125 at the age of 15. It was a left over at the dealership, but it was still brand new.8)
(pictures aren't MY BIKES) Have no pictures.

You guys should both love that the Honda Monkey is coming back to the US! It's based off of the 125cc, street legal Grom, but it's still a very cool update IMO.

HY I'd ride that yellow one all day over a grom.

There is a price premium over a Grom though. I've wanted a Grom so bad, but I have a hard time justifying the price when you can have a lot more bike, especially used, for the price.

The US name was the Z50, and it was my first true motorcycle after a minibike that I barely touched because it was a death trap. And Tim, are you saying they're going to price the Monkey (the world market name) higher than the Grom? If so, I bet they sell very, very few of them over here. Reason being that we don't have the license restrictions for new riders that most of the world does. Any 18yo with a job can walk in and leave on a CBR 1000RR, no questions asked.

I test rode a grom when they first came out. Fun but not really and if the thought is that it has too little power then I can't help you there. Has more than enough for what it is.

Would I pay a slight premium over a Grom? Any day of the week. Why? Everyone on a Grom gets the finger cause of the little immature dipsh*t who mainly buy them. Not all but most. I loath immature riders. On the new Monkey you would get nothing but thumbs up for going old skool.
