We've got them around Chicago too, I live and work in the suburb West Chicago and I've seen a few around here, including just a few hundred feet from work and the supervisor can hear them out near her place too. It's also not unusual to see them around O'Hare or even in Downtown Chicago!

The flip phones date this video well. Poor animal was probably overheated and just wanted to chill out a little.
If I remember right, it was pretty brutal all over the Chicagoland area that day:ror:
I like how the man leaps back into his car head first.
Was it during the dog days of summer? :lmao:
I just don't see that thing getting off the ground without twisting that flimsy looking center wing. Maybe if the rear wings were connected together, in the middle, it would be more stable
I'm guessing the payload that is to be carried on that center spar will help add stability and it also explains the lack of a joined tail.
From Wikipedia:
"The centre section of the high-mounted, high aspect ratio wing is fitted with a Mating and Integration System (MIS) capable of handling a 500,000 lb (230 t) load, being developed by Dynetics."
If it is capable of handling 230 tons, it's got to be pretty stout.
So it’s a fancy cargo transport? It could carry 22 M.O.A.B.s at a one time. That’d leave a mark from space. Or 3 Abrams M1A2 tanks. Or 125 cubic yards of average weight concrete. That’s 7” across a football field if my rusty math is correct.
Brushless motors done differently!
Saw this and was impressed by the tech:

Then I saw this - Dyson motor tech!:

And was impressed by the narration... and the tech.
(seriously, the narrator is one of the funniest guys I've ever heard)
