DAKAR Rally Modified Stewart & Stevenson M1079

Hey, Ty - fixed a broken link for ya - I wanted to see EVERY image you've posted on this incredible rig, hope you don't mind!

(if you'd like for me to delete it for any reason, just let me know...)

Edit: Deleted pic, the previous post is fixed

This rig is a true museum piece - but you'll need to post some video - maybe you could team up with an indie film or commercial producer and shoot a short film with this and your other builds demonstrating Tekin products?

"thumbsup"

Awesome build, Troopers fit right in and very cool! Buttonhead screws would look cleaner than the cap head screws though, give it a more finished look. :)

The ones on the cab I agree, will be replacing them soon. I just have lots of cap head hardware around.

Couple more pics before it got dirty. Working on a video, hopefully have it posted before Axialfest!

I tend to save all the pics of the interesting, unique, well-built, scale-accurate, and plain amazing builds I see on this forum and elsewhere on the web - this one ticks ALL the boxes! "thumbsup"

So recently I had to start a separate folder entitled "High-End Builds" for some that really stand out, and so far all of yours have been placed in there... ;-)

Whenever I feel a lack of motivation for crawling or building come over me, or I have someone over that is a stranger to the world of crawlers - I set it on "Slide-show Mode"! 8)

Just... SO damn cool... 8)

Ah, ok.

You sure did a killer job on that rig...if not for the steering servo it'd be dang hard to tell it's a RC!

Thanks! I had it chassis mounted but I couldn't setup a proper 3-link panhard setup.

So bad ass! Great job, looks like a beast. Looking forward to seeing it next week. "thumbsup"

Thank you! I can't wait to get to Axialfest!
