New to me Bomber

Thanks Durok! That thread is exactly what i need! Curious to know your thoughts about shortening the wheelbase.

I personally haven't shortened mine, I swapped my links from kit aluminum with SSD trailing arms to a full JEC Racing set to allow me to use the stronger Traxxas Revo (and some Jato) rod-ends.

Axial rod-ends are not made of a proper quality plastic for holding up to even moderately powerful motors, they were stretching and breaking on my rig.

There is definitely a science to choosing the right link & driveshaft lengths, I had a lot of trial-and-error when swapping over because of a situation I had with receiving incorrect links.

I corrected it eventually by exchanging some of my Revo rod-ends for Jato versions as they are quite a bit longer.

Before I fixed it, I was getting a bad bind in my stock Axial driveshafts - they were not allowing full rear travel.

Everything is perfect now!

Painted up the driver figures and put up some window netting. These LEGO window nets are perfect!!
