Congresswoman attempted assassination

This among other things really is the pisser in this. Here is a representative talking and listening to the real people she represents and she gets shot for her effort. even if you dont agree with here politics you have to love the fact that she is doing what we wish all of our elected officials would do. If you do some research on her I think you will find this is not a publicity thing, she does this all the time. I hope she has a full and speedy recovery.
 
The person who allegedly shot Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and murdered several others, Jared Loughner, is reportedly a loner who lists the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as among his favorite books. From what I have read about him this evening, he is in need of some serious mental heath related services and has no real political affiliation!​

All day the I've watched the Liberal media try and place the blame of this tragic incident on to the Tea Party Movement, Fox News, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Conservatives in general.​

The Liberal media fails to mention that the most recent items which could be seen as potential incitements to violence against Congresswoman Giffords have come from the Left, in response to her refusal to back Nancy Pelosi for Minority Leader in the House just days ago.​

We've seen this pattern repeated several times over the last two years. The Liberal media is just foaming at the mouth to find an incident they can use to validate their portrayal of the "violent right wing".​

Remember when MO Sen. Carnahan's office was fire bombed...It was blamed on Conservatives...Ooops, later found to have been perpetrated by a former Liberal staff member.

The Time Square bomber...Blamed on an angry white man unhappy w/ the passage of Obama-care...Ooops, turns out it was an angry Muslim terrorist.

The attack on the NT Muslim cab driver...Initial reports from the Liberal press blamed the right...Ooops, turned out to be another violent Liberal ...

On and on it goes.

We need to stop the corrupt Obama-swoonin media. They are obviously not doing their jobs, instead they bolster Obama’s Socialist ideology in contrast to what the majority of the people in this country believe, and try to make Conservatives look like violent, racist, hatemongers!

Why do we always allow the corrupt Liberal members of the media to get away with their double standards and hypocrisy?

If a Conservative speaks out against against Obama’s Socialist policies, or if someone like Sarah Palin utters the word “Reload” in a speech, they are attacked and branded by the corrupt Liberal media as violent racists who are trying to incite violent actions against Democrats.
 
Dez if the majority of the media was pushing a conservative agenda do you think it would be any different.

If not affiliation thats the problem, its the damn media itself. And the fact that they have ANY agenda and are not non-bias.

The sad thing about Dez is that his blind hatred of anything liberal has really done a fine job of skewing any form of logic or reasoning.

Let's stop Obama and the liberal media? Really? So we censor media outlets, that's about at conservative and patriotic as it gets ... Not.:roll:

Anyway, sucks to see a tragedy being used by the left and right for their own selfesh agendas.

So it's my blind "hatred" of Liberals that make the Liberal media skew their reporting to the extent that it is?

The examples I gave of the bias of the Liberal media is far from my control or influenced by my "hatred".

I never once mentioned censor of the media, I'm asking for fair, balanced, less biased reporting. Nothing more, nothing less.

I do agree that this is indeed a tragedy. Hopefully it will give both sides a moment of pause and bring some sanity back to the political arena.

That's it right there, the media has been "yelling fire in a crowded theater" for a while now and somebody finally "panicked". The thing that has concerned my Dad for a while now is that somebody with "issues" would be listening to that rhetoric and decide it's time to act actually do something rash, just like this guy and low and behold, it's finally happened. I am curious about this so called person of interest, not only if he exists but also how much influence he had over the suspect and the crime committed.

I agree. I've said for a long time, the 24 hour a day news cycle has been a detriment to our Nation. W/ all that time to fill, it leads the news Networks to twist, skew, or just flat out invent "news".
 
If you want to change the governement, VOTE!!!

I'm all for a revolution through the ballot box. Nut-balls like this want their flavor of governement now, or their views are simply out-voted...
 
What happened on Saturday was an absolute tragedy, senseless insanity, and at this point, the motive and reasoning behind it, are just simply speculation. Claiming to know exactly why this obviously mentally disturbed individual commited such a heinous act, and blaming the right/left agenda or certain politicians views as a cause, is just ridiculous at such an early stage.
My thoughts, prayers and condolances go to the families and loved ones who suffered a great loss, also a wish for a full and speedy recovery for those who were injured, and to all the citizens of the US.

A revolution of any sort will never happen again in this country. The diversity that we brought on & encouraged has flawed that system.

And if youre pro-diversity the idea of a "majority" goes against the basic principles of diversity.

This country was founded by way of revolution (physical), as have many govts & civilizations over the years. If there were enough people of the same mindset I dont know if Id see anything wrong with it...but of course that will never happen because of the above mentioned.
