colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

If anyone is interested for a little pre-weekend crawl, Jeremy and I are going to be at P9 at 10:00 this morning. We'll head west from there and see what's on the other side. 8)

Not for me, getting shown up in my home turf is enough for me. Besides, my servo is on the fritz so I'll be staying local this weekend

So your gonna let a stock sawback show you up? Comon man, i think it was cool that the denver fellas came down to our turf threw an awesome comp so the least we could do is show up and support the hobby on their turf cause i believe on a select few have gone to a denver comp. isnt that what being in a club is supposed to be?

And when are you leaving Donnie ... maybe the ones that are going can car pool or something.

Regarding a new area (for me anyway) ....
Yesterday Jeremy and I went to P9, south to the top ridge of Devils Playground and then went west following the bike trail. Very nice trail run, we followed it across the road leading out to the 'overlook' and a bit further till my motor took a dump. The entire run was really pretty good if not great. It had something for everyone ... staying on the trail was great for those who perfer 'trail runs' and had enough average obsticles to keep it interesting and for those who are into a little more sever stuff, there was plenty right off the trail spread periodically along the entire trail run. Once I get my rig back up and running I'm headed back there.

Speaking of getting my rig back up and running; anyone heard of problems with the CC Sidewinder V3? I have smoked 3 motors with it, a Holmes, a Tekin and a Brood.

most likely not ... I've tried to pull up a map of Palmer Park showing the different Parking/Picnic areas and after looking through a billizon maps, I never found one showing these. With that said, P9 is real easy to find. Enter the park off Mazeland and turn on the first dirt road on the left which will be right across from the dog park which is maybe half mile off Mazeland on the right. Follow the dirt road to the end and that's P9. Are you looking at going tomorrow and if so, what time? George got his reply in B4 mine ... just like he said :)
