colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Negative. They come in different sizes. Depending on how tall your tires are. Your gonna want the double deuce. 2.2's but they could be 5 inch 5.25 5.50 5.75 so they cane fit just right in the tires. I can't remeber what the tsl's run height wise. Hang on ill do some looking right quick.

So the Tsl's are a 5.4 inch tall tire. You can go with the 5.25 and they will be a touch shorter and maybe have more grip. Key word maybe. Or you can go with the 5.5. That is really your call honestly. If it was me I would prolly go with the 5.25 since your JK is on the lighter side. That's my .02. Soft front outers and Med rear outers. Are your rims vented?

I drilled a few holes. But I'm also thinking about adding weight to the axle, rims, and frame. I've noticed that my truck is so light it actually hinders the crawling aspect of it.

Then I would go with the double deuce 5.5 with soft fronts and med rears. Both my rigs have The C.I. foams and I don't have a single complaint. The reason I asked if your rims are vented is because the closed cell inner will keep water out for the most part. I can agree with that but the water that does get in sits in the inners. So you can run the vents and vent the inners or you can vent the tires. My pitbulls weren't vented just the rims. The Baja Claws are vented and so are the rims. Hope this helps.

Shit my rims are heavy. The front two are fully wrapped in weight. I think there is 3oz of weight added to them. What they weigh is beyond me. I have never weighed it. I don't have any weight added to my rear rims. Mine has a lot of weight down low between those metal wheels with the weight added and the curries. What rims are you running?

Right now just stick. I'm thinking about upgrading. But it's allot of dough to throw down when the stock rims are doing good so far. I usually don't upgrade unless it breaks. Sometimes I do have to kick it when it won't break and I want the upgrade sooner. Lol

Lol I understand. Personally I like beadlocks a hell of a lot more than stock rims. None of that gluing which is a pain in the ass. Plus with beadlocks all it requires is a few screws (depending on which you go with) and bam you can change the look of the truck just like that. If your gonna shell out the money for beadlock get a nice set then you only have to buy em one. Unless you are like some of us and just like changing it up. Like me I am waiting to but the Vanquish Rockstars when they are released. Do I need them no not at all. My Mayhem Monsters are just fine. I want em because I know they will look sick with what I am doing to the wraith. My JK I went with the Vanquish Methods. Vanquish makes nice wheels I won't like. You can even ask Cody he has the silver Methods on his JK. The nice thing about those is that you can change how wide your hubs are, as well as it only requires 5 screws to change the wheel. Unlike my Monsters that are 32 screws per tire.

My stocks are beadlock. But they're plastic. That's the down fall. I was thinking vanquish as well. That way I can add and take away weight whenever I like. My downfall with that is I would have to upgrade my steering and servo tremendously. Cause knowing me I would add an easy pound of weight to just the front end if my truck.

Even then you would be alright its actually cheaper than you would think to upgrade. You don't have to go completely all out. You can get the steering links in a set for 21.99, a servo between 60-75 depending on the torque, and a stage 1 kit for 96. Other than links your ready to rock and roll. Cause once you add that weight, if its like my wraith was and you have the stock servo in there that is gonna be the first thing to go. We got the links covered so I would get the stage one kit next. Cause its only a matter of time till the chubs or knuckles go. Cody can agree on that one and no one in town stocks parts for crawlers really. If you want to save some money on the chubs and knuckles you can always get the axial or strc one as well. It doesn't get really expensive till you put the Pro 4/Roc412 motor and MMP esc combo into it cause that is when you really have to start upgrading.
