Looks like I may never see the classifieds (which isn't why I am here, but would be a nice bonus). I would buy a star, but I don't gamble and that would be a gamble since I don't know if it is worth it yet.

It is worth it. Prices are good, you can check a members rep in the feedback thread, and there are many deals to be had.

Lets try something new. If someone asks a stupid question or one that has been asked a lot, don't comment on it. Don't answer it. Don't tell them to search. Don't say a thing. Just let it sit. They will get the idea. And if someone should happen to feel that they would like to help someone out, then let them.

We all try to stay civilized, but every once in a while someone will snap after seeing the same question 100 times and go off on a rant. Happens to everyone at some point...

I'm sure the star would be worth the purchase, but i would still like to see what I am getting before I buy. I am all about supporting something that is good and useful. That's why I try to always support my local hobby shops. If you don't support them, then they won't be there to support you after they close. I only order online if I absolutely have to, or the deal is too good to pass up. Also, my local shops don't really carry much for crawler stuff so I have to look elsewhere. That's why I would like to be able to see what's for sale here.

Anyhow, once I know what I am paying for, then we will see about the star. I'm not rich, but I know that sometimes it is worth it to spend a little to support something like this site.

Also remember that buying a star also buys you entry into the vendor giveaways. I've had a star for going on three years now, and have more than made up the purchase price with what I've won each year.

I know what you mean about the giveaways, but I never win anything, anywhere, or at anytime. Honestly, just sitting here thinking back on it, I really don't think I have won anything EVER. I've subscribed to magazines with offers of free items with subscription just to find out that when they say "While supplies last" they ain't fooling around. When it's gone, it's gone.

Nope lol just kidding, you can but just don't go all butt hurt on us with why cant you see the classifieds or why you should get a free star. I've seen your posts, only six but your trying to help out and give info on things, which is good. Just don't try the 20+ posts of "cool rig" or "sweet" after the 30 posts, go wild with those post, we won't care

In the For Sale section a mod has to approve it first before it goes up.
In the Wanted section it goes up rite away.
Since you've got the star your good to go or else you wouldnt even see the classifieds to be able to post in the first place.

Probably because your post count is so low. Sometimes a noobs post will go into limbo until a mod approves it. Happens quite a bit, so no worries.
