Chicklet's ***2012*** T1E Rockshow SS XR10

A pair of Jato rod ends on the lowers is all you need. Should get you really close to 12.5 when squished."thumbsup"

Yep done! Added two pair and I'm a a few mm away from 12.5". 11" width front and 10.5" rear width. Now for more practice.

You added two PAIR? I'm pretty sure you're over 12.5" if that's the case. I just put one of these together yesterday and used a Jato rod end at ONE end of the rear lower links along with a 2mm delrin spacer on the other end. That puts it right on 12.5" throughout the suspension travel.

Make sure you're checking it throughout the travel...from full droop to full squat...

I can give that a little more clarification...I didn't use jatos on both ends of the links. I used a set on one of the lowers and another set on the uppers.

*It would be way over if jatos are used on both ends

eh....
it needs to be pinky'er..

i loved my boss claws..
till my damn vp's decided to cut the bead in half..

the less pins they had the better they worked it seemed..

I'm at it again...

Going to gut my electronics and step it up! Just like JRH says...volt up and gear down! Thats what I'm doing

Ordered up a pair of The 2012 Team Edition Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster 16T (Checkpoint). Running the motors on dual BR-XL ESCs.

Also got with SuperShafty and ordered a set of the Kyosho Velvet Coating Shocks with the SuperShafty brass shock caps. I cannot believe how smooth these shocks cycle. I have been through several different sets trying to find one that feels good in hand. These are the ticket. I will run them and tune the springs before the Indoor Championship. For now I'm running the Mini-T springs with JeepinDoug cups and have limited the travel.

Review to follow "thumbsup"

I'm glad to see your working on this again"thumbsup"
Are those custom made end caps on those shocks or just modded

Awesome build. "thumbsup"
Thank you!

How long are those shocks eye to eye with the rod end mod?
Depends how much you limit them. I will measure them in the morning. I know I'm over 3.5" right now. Just added a little plastic axial spacer for now....then some tuning to see how they react with more travel.

I'm glad to see your working on this again"thumbsup"

Thank you! The blue ring comes with the shocks. The SuperShafty brass cap allows you to run a rod end with these shocks just like the Big Bore shock cap mod. BUT, SOOOO MUCH BETTER, I mean BUTTER! "thumbsup"
