Chicklet's ***2012*** T1E Rockshow SS XR10

HECK NO! :flipoff:

$90 for the shocks, $29 for the brass caps, $13 Mini-T spring (4) and $12.00 JeepinDoug Mini-T spring cups. So around $144 without shipping. I have another set of 110mm Velvets as well. Thats how much I like them! "thumbsup"

You need to add "Team Deep Pockets" to your sig line. Missed you at the ETRC comp, see you at the next one"thumbsup"

Mmm I wish...more like TEAM BROKE A$$. Missed you guys too!

Looks good Chicklet, any plans to dye the white delrin pink?

Thank you! Wait white delrin? Are you talking about my Rockshow or the old chassis (BWD Thing)? I'm running a dyed Rockshow SS currently. It was dyed red (turned out pink).

Glad to hear the velvet shocks are worth it. I have some coming my way. Great lookin build btw

All this new stuff before another big comp. Are you going to try any of it out at the columbus comp. I am sure with some side by side comparison you will find out how you want the truck to do. Sometimes its hard to tune without seeing how another truck does the same line. Bring a bunch of batteries and we can get it how you like it.

I have been playing with tires and foam setups, buying new VP wheels  and other surprises. Now I just have to focus on driving. I'm tired of coming in the middle of the pack (or lower for that matter) when it comes to scores.

At the moment she sits at 5lbs 5oz RTR. I'd like to hit the high 4lb mark. I'm not getting into the anorexia girls. They may perform better for some but not for me...curves are nice too :ror:. A tad bit lighter may help in some situations.

The Kyosho Velvet shocks are beautiful, been tuning them and seeing what works for my rig. They are winners, I won't buy any other shocks for my XR. Contact v84x4 Super Shafty for the shocks (90mm with brass caps). "thumbsup"

Great build thread Brit"thumbsup"

I have been playing with some new VP wheels and new tire and foam setups lately as well. I have been rocking my tried and true Sedona setup for over a year now and it works well. I just wanted to give the pin tires a try for ECC. I will have the Dona setup at the ready tho in case I need them.......

I know light weight is the trend and I have seen some sub five lb trucks do some pretty kewl lines but I just couldnt make it work for my. It seems I aways come back to a 5.75 to 6 LB rig to feel comfortable.

I used to run those velvet shocks with all the trimmings with my old chassis. They were soooooooo smooth!!! I let them go when I sold it and now wish I kept them...

See ya in a couple of weeks8)

I know, I don't know why I do it to myself everytime but I'm trying to get it where its good for me. Thanks Grim! I always love the way you drive. Some shake down will help me a lot! Just not sure if I'm gonna make it down there this weekend.

Not to mention some good pointers from an experienced driver "thumbsup"
I know right?

Thanks honey! I got some cut n' shuts from Ittybitty and have yet had time to try them. I'm not going to lighten my rig all the way...maybe a few ounces RTR to get here down to the high 4lb mark (I'm only 5 ounces shy). If I can't resonably shed weight, I won't.

Yeah the Velvets are well velvety and you shoulda kept them!!!!

Oh yea, I love it when the chicks call me Honey:mrgreen:

Ryan does some very nice tire work, Im sure you will love them"thumbsup"

What foam setup you gonna try? unless thats top secret.........;-)

NO secrets! I've got to tune some more but I'm going to use the narrow closed cells and soft outers up front. Old duals in the rear (med/med). Still trying to see if I can make the closed cells work for me.

Sound like a good start. I am trying out the new Nova foams in my new tire setup now.

Just finished up your BRXL's...you're not going to know what to do with drag brakes that work...not to mention ESC's that function properly "thumbsup"

Oh my :shock::shock:

Very nice job Ryan. Do you have dimentions of that? Does it fit in the SS chassis flat and on it's edge? Or is there just one way it will fit?

Chicklet.... way to go! No more rats nest "thumbsup"

Thanks Ryan for doing it so quickly for me! I'm really excited! I've been wanting to get dual BRXLs in my XR for some time now . Can't go wrong with Holmes Hold!

Thanks Harvo...I'm sure it will be in my XR (among a few other new things) for the Dayton Comp. "thumbsup"

Brxls do fit flat , but there still a little on the chubby side compared to a micro sidewinder! But the holmes hold is worth it!!
