#BRODOZER - Class 3 F350 - Diesel brothers rock buggy Replica

Hahaha... slow reving tractor-like monster truck.

As much as I’m not a Chevy fan a duramax is the better option. Or a 6.7 Ford. A monster truck needs a motor that is snappy. Both can handle the required power levels, plus they have better flowing heads with a lighter rotating assembly.

Haha I’m just giving you a hard time bud cause I own a 3500 Ram!

The diesel monster truck thing has been done before and it’s a cooler concept than reality. Either way it’ll be awesome to see something that looks like a truck and not some animal blowing smoke everywhere

Lol. Kinda figured you were partial to a Cummins. It’s kinda a tough pill to swallow suggesting a dmax when I’m a power stroke owner lol.

The past diesel monster truck is a Cummins. Pretty sure it’s not even a common rail. It’s not very exciting to watch lol.

I don’t think a diesel will ever be a snappy an alcohol motor with a blower on it but it’s possible to make a diesel competitive if done right.

great build! I also use a mamba x and the 2400kv in my scx10.2, great combo. quick question, are there any voltage limits at these ttc comps? I find 3s is perfect for crawling with this motor but for a completion where speed is a factor 4s would probably be the better option.

Not sure how I missed this build but HOLY SMOKES! Killer job! I wish I could undertake a project like that. My wallet hurts just thinking about it! 8)8)

Dana I wish I could have seen you killing it.

149 r/c worx/scalerfab/team brood.

Don't worry Fish we got plenty of video!!

Congrats Dana on your TTC repete at Crawlapalooza 2017!!!

Thank you!! It was awesome event and the brodozer did some work.

Going head to head with the swamp ghost from the crawl space had me nervous all day.

Just wondering where this build has ended up. I followed it originally, but just wanted to know if this wonderful build was still kickin?!?!

I still have it. She was retired at the beginning of 2019 from competition (3 years undefeated in TTC events). Some of the durable bits went into a new rig, but the Truck, wheels, chassis and electronics are all together. Maybe she'll come out of retirement some day (ain't as good as it once was, but as good once as it ever was?). But I don't see her leaving my garage.

Hey! Any chance you'd be keen to print/send some matching decals? I'm so keen to try and build a hard body version of this!
