#BRODOZER - Class 3 F350 - Diesel brothers rock buggy Replica

May I know what type of tube bender you are using? I am just starting to work with tubing and brazing. I have the home depot tube bender but it doesn't do the sharp bends I want to achieve.

Can anyone also direct me to a good tutorial on making exocages? I tried searching here but only got the ones that I deem to advance for a noob like me. Thank you.

Hi Andy. I use a BAC rod bender I got off of amazon.

It works great for solid rod and tubing 3/16" or less.

I don't know if any tutorials. I just watched YouTube to learn how to braze. Took cues from real 1:1 trucks for the design. I use an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel to cut all my tubing. I use third hand clamps ( for soldering) and magnets to hold parts.
Make sure you get safety silv solder (45 or 56) and their flux.

Was able to get out to Phil's yesterday and see BroDozer for a little bit. Great to see such amazing work getting a little dirty.

Hey mate, I know you probably get asked a lot, but I was wondering if you could build trucks to sell?

I'm looking at getting a new truck but I don't have the skills to build anything like this, just wounded if it was something you did?

Hey man. Sadly right now I just don't have time to build rigs for people. Especially one like this what's so involved.

I do unload some rigs I've built once and a while but not regularly.

You may have to make time for another Brodozer build. Saw on IG he is thinking about doing a V2 rig!

Very true, I saw that too. hopefully they do something really cool that's worth replicating. Some of the suggestions from the fans didn't sound too special.

nice build on a scale truck. lots of work. can't say much for the show though being in the industry they are and seeing first hand the work they produce and knowing people who have he work they produce not a fan of them or the show. but do appreciate this kind of hard work and attention to detail! good work my friend!

Thanks guys. It's a hell of a truck and a blast to drive.

Sadly I won't be doing the hurricane prep version. But I do love the guys for organizing and bringing a bunch of relief items to Texas!

I had to get this thing ready for a TTc next Sunday.

Needed some new wheel nuts as they were coming loose. And a replacement servo. The one in there still works but she's lost some grunt.

What's totally cool is that it will be a real truck, with diesel power. I find that part unique, if it can spool up quick enough ........ looks are off the charts!

Hang up and Drive

Changed it for you :)

Hahaha... slow reving tractor-like monster truck.

As much as I’m not a Chevy fan a duramax is the better option. Or a 6.7 Ford. A monster truck needs a motor that is snappy. Both can handle the required power levels, plus they have better flowing heads with a lighter rotating assembly.
