Thanks man!

My update will look a lot different than theirs. I don't have the patience (or skill for that matter) to paint digital camo.

I think the way it's turning out is awesome. Should have it far enough along to post pics in a couple days.

My redo is partly just to make a change in appearance, but mostly to increase performance in TTC events.

They didn't change the color they just added a bobbed bed to the back to make it look more like a truck. It is still yellow.

Sorry I haven't watched last nights episode yet.

I plan to do something different with the rear panels. However it won't match the changes exactly.

This is what I was referring too. When they launched their energy drink "torque" they wrapped the truck and put black wheels. This was after they did the rear sheet metal change.

I would torque the wrap off and stick with the yellow...the contrast was much cooler. The redo of the rest of the little details was pretty sharp though. Heavy D calls the shots, he can do whatever he wants! You've still got a winner of a rig nomatter what you do or don't do!"thumbsup"

Ok guys, I need some help on tire selection.

The 1:1 uses Mickey Thompson ttc baja claws.

Although they are one of my favorite looking tires ever, I am not huge on there performance.

At our local club test and tune yesterday. A buddy said "why not use pitbull growlers?" They're chevron design, great compound and they do work really well here in Mn (especially if you trim some lugs)

So I'm looking for feedback on where I should go....

Option 1 - RC4wd Mickey Thompson 2.2 ttc in x2ss

Option 2 - Pitbull Growler 2.2

Option 3 - RC4wd Mickey Thompson 2.2 ttc Radial

Option 4 - RC4wd Irok swamper 2.2 (Totally goes away from the scale look but I already have a set in x2ss and they are a great all around tire)

I'm kinda leaning pitbull or ttc radial.... I just don't know.....

I'd go with the pit bull growlers - I know that you scalers sometimes want to lean more towards form than function when trying to replicate a 1:1 accurately, but the pit bulls still look very scale and, as all RCers know, tire selection can and will make or break your vehicles performance and, therefore, your enjoyment of the finished product (obviously the "driving" part, not the "looks bitchin just sitting there posing for pics" part)

I picked the growlers for it about a year ago. Ran them all summer/fall and won 2 TTC events and several G6 style events. Great tire and great performer.

Putting 2.2 Hyrax on it for this refresh as they will perform better on the rocks and the mud.

Thanks Bulldog! Luckily my buddy superdrty had some bed sides from a proline f250 crewcab. And I'm actually going to mimic the 1:1 sheet metal now.

Just finishing up paint but you can see a glimpse of the colors. Definitely my own take on the truck but keeping the diesel sellerz essence.

The castle 2400 is installed too. Since the armature is so long I had to drill a hole and "grow" the spur cover.

I didn't touch my mmp settings vs the roc412. The castle motor is definitely less subtle at the low end. Little more jumpy. Just not really as smooth as the tekin. It doesn't matter so much as the rig is for the trail and TTC action mostly. Where power and speed are much more important.

Our first TTC of the season is in about 2 weeks. The brodozer is ready to defend her title.

Just an amazing work of art "thumbsup"

You may have mentioned it already, but how heavy is your Brodozer?

She lands at about 11 lbs with battery. The cage work is all tubing. If it was solid rod. I guess she'd be around 14-15 lbs

I hope to 've able to see this in person some time this year. Looking very well built.

It'll be at crawlapalooza again this year. If I'm lucky enough to get into the ttc again she'll try to defend her title.
