Big Red TTC, my 1:1 replica...sort of

Here it is guys! Like mentioned above, this was a challenge for me. The original body fit super tight to the cage and tube work and this body has lots of seams on the inside were the individual panels are held together. The seams could be flattened but doing so is tricky since the metal is so thin it tends to dent and bend in your hands. Lots of little dents and ripples are a result of my less than gingerly methods but all in all I am happy. It would be best to start out with one of these beauties and build around it, and not try and retrofit 5 days before an event:shock:

What you don't see in the pics is the additional tube work up front to support the front clip. The hood hinges now so that really nice for changing batteries. I was going to move the hood posts forward but the first time I shut the hood it got two nice dimples so I was kinda locked it.

Looks amazing! Gonna be tough to not just go demolition derby the first time out! First dent is the most painful. So coool!

Seeing the first dent in person after the frame twister was cool. I have seen a few pics of it latern on in the TTC also...

Sure would like to see an "after" shot close up"thumbsup"
