Does the rear sway bar help with body roll and does it interfere with the flex at all
It does help with body roll, but limits articulation quite a bit. I actually ended up cutting the sway bar in half because it was limiting travel too much, so it is just for looks now. "thumbsup"
Some guys said sway bar will help to crawl but they haven t tried....you tried so it s seems they are not helpfull to crawl

They seem to help more in the 1:1 world, than with R/C's. R/C's usually don't have enough weight in the chassis to make them flex properly in the rocks and still be effective at high speed.
Tks Bender,
You run 500.000 in front diff if I m right, in that case you really improve crawling but do you lost a lot of steering. It seems that with front locked, some guys have few problems like broken pins....
I am running lockers front and rear on mine. "thumbsup"
Tks a lot so do you lost a lot of steering or it s not too bad...
The high clearance steering links. I had to bend the 106mm tie rod in two places to clear the pumpkin on the axle housing, in order to work with the high clearance knuckles. Then, I added spacers to the ends to make it long enough. Worked great, and moves the tie rod up a little.
Ive always been a Yota fan..but im having a sweet spot for this one! The Bead lock rings really set the truck off!"thumbsup"
Sub'd!
This pic makes me feel a lot better about having some high clearance knuckles on the way. I wasn't sure if my drag link was going to clear the tie rod but it looks like the tie rod isn't raised all that much if you put it under the knuckle arms vs. on top of standard knuckles.
Did you have some clearance issues with the drag link mounted on the front of the servo arm, or was it purely preference to put it behind?
Thanks, I put the knuckles on today and see that I'll have to do the same.I mounted it behind the servo horn to avoid binding. At full turn one way the horn rubbed the rod end a little. Mounting it behind the servo horn solved the issue for me. 8)

Now I just need to bend my tie rod, or make one from spare allthread and stainless tube. Have you found that the stock aluminum links bend well, without kinking or cracking? I'm really not looking forward to getting the length spot on with a double bend.
Good looking jeep. Like a lot of your idea's to keep it close to stock but add the little bit of custom that sets it part from others...... unless your... you. Then everyone and there dog comes and reads this thread and builds there's just like it. lol Ahh the price of fame.
Keep on doing your thing dude as i enjoy watching creative unique builders.
Great looking rig! Really liked the vid you just posted as well.
