That looks killer Verne!!! They were right looks much better now. Waiting anxiously for more updates "thumbsup"

Awesome Verne. That is what I was thinking of when I was first talking about the rear. I like the tube above the bed rails and the little angle down by the tail lights. Now it needs some kind of cross brace maybe.

Nice plate. I like it.

You got it dude!"thumbsup" Are you going to continue the cross bracing like over the cab now and maybe add a couple gussets like you did on the cab at the rear of the cage just where the 45 starts? I think that would just about finish her off.8)

Thanks guys! Yea I am hoping the cage will protect the bed too hense the bars that connect to the rear bumper and the tubes along the top of the bed rail. I will add some cross tubes and maybe some gussets too. Then I need to build a front bumper and set up the drivetrain!

Then it should be almost ready to start the bidding! "thumbsup"

Wow Verne that turned out just awesome!"thumbsup"

I'm gonna have to get the winch to you this weekend for the front bumper...good excuse to do some crawling!

I have some black 5/16 Delrin and revo rod ends that I could make some front links out of if you could get me the eye to eye measurements?

Good call! on the crawlin'

The links are just stock AX-10 links. I am even using the upper y-link. I can measure them for you asap.

in other news I got the AX-10 transmission mounted to the frame.

The cage looks great , your doing a great job on this build "thumbsup"

Thanks man!

OK so I have been fabbing like crazy today. I got the Axial transmission and motor mounted, the KILLER Transfercase from RPP Hobby mounted to a center skid plate. I also fabbed up a steering servo mount complete with speed holes, and last but not least intalled some upper shock mounts. SOOOO, the Jeep is so close to being done I can smell it. All I have to do is build the front bumper, and I need the RC4WD Bulldog Winch which Brian Muzzy has!

Enough talk here are the pics:

Looking awesome! That rear pinion angle looks a little low... think it might need some degree shims under the leafs to point it up a bit.

What a great idea! It does need some degree shims!

I can't wait to see it in person again on Sunday!8)

Should I bring it?

I also wonder if anyone out there in RCC land would be interested in donating 2-4 Traxxass metal yokes to the build or axial yokes and driveshafts. I can contribute 2 or so, but I had to pull some off other rigs to mock this up. Please PM me if you have some spares yokes/shafts you would not mind parting with.
