Auction 1.9 Brute benefit build 4 Briansbodies w/ RPP Hobby, RC4WD,& CrawlerGraphics

I would do a Brute style bed, that way you can toss some detail items in it "thumbsup" Maybe a set of off road lights on the front, working or not would not matter. Would just make it look right.
Going for a military theme with this or street?

Thats exactly what I had in mind for the front bumper, only with a couple of runners from the hoop to the winch guard.

I cant wait to see or hear what people might want in a bed for this....
That is exactly what I had in mind as well!"thumbsup"

Me to!

dont do a flat bed, build the bed the way they come, It would make it much cleaner. just my 2 cents
Thank you for the feedback!"thumbsup"

Thanks for your suggestions!"thumbsup"

Not sure on the theme? I was thinking more of a street version myself, I have been seeing so many of the flat painted rigs lately, kinda makes me want to take it in another direction. Just my .02:)

So that is two for the bed right now.

As for paint, make it full custom blig style! The bodies Brian does are top notch, give this the same one of a kind treatment. Just my .02 but it would fit the cause.

If it has a bed I can prolly toss in some rear Flares to help cover up those tires... :)

Just sayin'

If it does have a "brute" bed it may not look exactly like a Brute's because the wheelwells would have to be a bit larger to accommodate the Rok Lox.

I also thought of building a box bed with fenders like a old school Jeep truck:

That would look right on it, easier to build too. I used to build a lot of 1/24 scale models, back when I had more free time. Love fabbing stuff like this.

We've got a painter!

Just got a message from Mike at Crawler Graphics and he has offered to do the paint for us.
Thank you so much Mike for this kind gesture. I'm sure with your skills you will make this rig look extra killer!"thumbsup"

Now I'm getting really excited!!

AWESOME! Thanks Mike!

Brutes can have two different sizes of wheel opening...with highline fender flares they are a lot wider and I think 3.5" higher on a 1:1. Mine has highlines and stuffs a huge tire well.

this becoming a truely great build. What color is it going to be painted. well I guess I have to wait until it is done to find out.

I just talked to Bmuzz1 and he said that on top of already making a generous monetary donation to Briansbodies cause RC4WD has also donated one of their winches for this build!

Also thanks again to all the people who have donated or offered parts or services for the build and Brian Foss!

How awesome is that! I am truely amazed at how people and companies have come together for one of our own!.

And it get's even better!

Shadill (Adam) has offered up his powder coating services to this build.

Now we have to decide what color all this fancy chassis and tube work should be.

Thanks Adam!

AWESOME! Man now we need to come up with a color scheme. How about a non-metalic blue body paint with silver Logos to support the companies who are contributing to the build. Then powder coat the chassis/bumpers in a silver to match the Logos.... other ideas? Maybe I need to try to make a drawing..????!!!!

I wish we could give it to you, but I also wish I could keep it too! LOL! :)
