Hey guys. New to this site been lurking for a while. Recently got back into a scx10 after selling mine 2 years ago. This site has some great info. Thanks!

MD/PA line - fresh into crawling. Playing with a HPI WK and a Losi MRC. Now where to find locals with similar interests..

Well, just picked up a used Wraith roller I'm new to crawlers but have experience in offroad racing and helis. Helis got to expensive and racing has started to annoy me lately so decided I needed another outlet. Plus I always wanted one. Looking for people to crawl with in the Ft. Campbell area.

Hi guys,

I'm MPD314 and I'm just getting back into R/C cars again I wanted to try this whole crawler thing so I just ordered the Axial SCX10 Ram Power Wagon. I want to do as much as can to make this thing awesome and I really wanted some guidance on it. What should I do first, second, etc.?

I love putting lights on cars and making them look awesome. I want to get the best motor possible for this that will make it run great.

Thanks,

Hello ya'll... I been a member for about a year now haven't spent a ton of time on this forum until the last couple weeks, since I been off work due to surgery. Anyhow, name's Matt and I have an addiction.... to rc trucks, plastic kits and 1:1 scale trucks...

I currently have 14 rc vehicles in my 1:10 scale fleet and have 2 more in the works.8)

Hi my name is Cliff. Newb here and to the hobby. Started on 1/24 modeling as a kid and always wanted to get into hobby grade rc. Been in the hobby for a couple months now and researching for years lol. Have Scx10 G6 and a Slash 2wd that already sits and collects dust. Hooked line and sinker on the scale aspects from loving 1:1 crawling/off-road and really anything with a motor/engine in it especially when modified. A friend of mine got a Honcho and we went crawling this last weekend and had an absolute blast. Want to find some more guys/gals to crawl with us. Are there any scalers near Rolla, MO??

Well I'm a newb so I'll just go ahead and get this first post out of the way.

I just picked up a scx10 and enjoy reading this forum.

Hello
Names Chris and I live in Morgan Hill, Ca
New to this whole rc crawler game. Got addicted after watching some buddies play on some rocks with their Wraiths. Promptly went out and bought an SCX10.
Than started upgrading it and found this place.

Hi, my names Ken. I live north of pittsburgh pa. Ive been on here checking things out for alittle while now, really enjoy the site and all the awesome info. Ive been into rcs for most of my life. I have a few nitro trucks and such but I just got my first scale truck about two weeks ago, a tf2 rtr. I really been enjoying the heck out of it and modding it to make it better. greased up the trans, transfer case and shimmed and greased the rear ends before I even ran it like everyone suggested. did some suspension mods and made a custom front bumper. raised the transfer case. I ordered a new steering servo and driveshafts because both stock parts really stink. But with every mod it just gets better and better. I also want to get a scx 10 someday. very fun and adictive hobby.

I apologize for any confusion or if this question has already been answered. I have a 9 yr old son that is dying to have a RC crawler for Christmas :). I DO NOT want to spend more than $300.00 for his first vehicle. Obviously he is young, but he is very responsible. He wants to climb and create obstacles on our property. I do not know where to start. I do not know what to stay away from. The only brand I have laid my eyes on are the Axials. How are they on durability, repair costs for brushed and is there another brand you would prefer over this one (within guidelines). Does Traxxas make a crawler? HELP!!
