Attn: NEWBIES POST HERE<<<<<<

Hi. My name is Jake and i am from Minnesota. I have a redcat nitro, an Axial AX10 RTC with a few upgrades, and I just finished my G*Made R1 Rock buggy which was my first build. I have been looking for a place to crawl but have found no luck. I actually found one but it is in Duluth and places near there and I live 5 hours away from there. Please respond and awesome website."thumbsup"

Hey group, my name is Jeff i live in NW Montana, and I'm just starting with the purchase of a Axial SCX 10 JK RTR. I plan on posting a build thread in the SCX 10 section around the first of Feb. still ordering all the upgrade parts, really impressed with the officially license products, have OMF, Currie, and Rigid items on the way just to name a few.

how do u subscribe to a certain thread? Can I not do it cuz im a noob or is there a certain way? The reason I ask is im a member of another forum and all u had to do was post in a thread and i automatically subscribed to to that thread. Can anyone help me?

Click on Thread Tools at the top of the posting and there is a link to subscribe. I believe the auto subscribe is a setting in your control panel, at least is in on other forums I am on.

Hello all,

Dathan, located in Palm Harbor FL. Just got into the 4x4 rc world. Just picked up a RTR Axial Honcho. Ive been in the nitro rc world for about 10 years running rc10gt's and 1/8 scale buggies but its now time to slow down a little and have some fun.

Pat from Pennsylvania. SCX-10 and tube chassis project. Hoping to get a build thread going. Have been running sc trucks for a couple years and hoping to get more into scaling/crawling

Nice to meet everyone!

Newb to the site & minimal crawling experience. I've had a LCC for about 9 months but barely time to crawl between family and work.

Looking to join some comps soon to hone my skills.

I'm in Central Mass so if anyone is around the Worcester area that knows of some get togethers, let me know.

Hope to meet some fellow crawlers on here!

Hi folks, I just got done building a CKRC custom Wraith, and now I'm looking to have some fun with it. I'm in Carlisle, IN, so I'd be interested in all the local (in Indiana and Eastern IL) events that may be happening for 2013.

Hey my name is stephen, I'm a noob to the forum, but not to the Hobby. although this is my first "scale" electric . but like what I see thus far,
I'm running a scx10 honch, trailing in Paducah ky. And hoping to reach out and find others near me , me and a close buddy recently bought our rigs, mine being the honcho and his being a venom crawler adapted to a scx10 chassis with proline jeep body. A few others we work with have caught the rc fever from us and have bought a few as well .

Look forward to reading and learning more tips tricks and ideas , and gain a few rc friends.

Stephen lynch,

Whats up guys, like most new to this forum not to the hobby...
My name is tyson I am from Snohomish WA and I just picked up a Kyosho RF off CL.... I've read the RF threads and look forward to building it up a bit more. Any local Snohomish County crawlers here?

Hello all. I'm only half n00b lol. I've been an rc addict for a little over 10 years now and I have planes, boats, helicopters, drifters and speed machines but just bought my first crawler the other day. And I'm quite excited because I love the technical challenges of crawling. ( I crawl in my 1:1 jeep). You will see me here a lot with build threads and questions. Well that's my intro. Remember, if you're not breaking stuff, you're not having fun.

Oh yeah, my name is Devvon and I live in Alberta Canada and I'm running a maxstone 10 that will be heavily modded with mostly DIY stuffs.

Hi folks! I'm Jayson and I'm a RCAholic and a NOOB... I currently have a Honcho & Wraith but have done some serious upgrades on the Honcho. Weighted 1.9 Pitbull tires, hitec ball bearing servo, aluminum links, including steering, aluminum shocks, plus Vanquish knuckles & hubs... Will be upgrading to lipo as well, just saving up and seeing what part breaks next!

Oh yeah, I'm from the Phx area. "thumbsup"

Thx

Since I'm still kinda a noob here (and I may as well be a noob to R/C as long as I was out of the hobby),other than the non-R/C related terminology (which I won't repeat here,LOL),I have no idea what this means....what the heck is a "foff build"?

Hi all, I am a newbie here and new to rc rock crawling...have done years of 1:1 rock crawling...and have 3 1:1 Crawlers all Toyotas

Hi everyone! new on the forum but not that new to Crawling! I have a Axial AX10 with a SWX chassis, stock trany, ESC is a novak rooster crawler/novak 55 turn motor with a airtronic's 2.4ghz receiver,JR servo ds8711, DNA beadlock wheels with HPI rock grabbers, stock axles, losi 4'' shocks!

What's up guys, my name is Duane and I'm from Pittsburgh. I'm such a n00b to r/c crawling that I don't have a rig yet. A friend of mine piqued my curiosity into crawling with his Wraith, and after stumbling around the interwebs researching everything I came across this site, liked it so much I bought a star.

Anyway, initially I thought I wanted a Wraith as well then I saw the Gmade R1. Looks great but seems like parts may be hard to come by so my buddy talked me back into a Wraith, and with Harley's guides I think I could build a pretty solid one.

I'm still deciding what I want to get but it will be a kit and I will be adding a lot of aftermarket parts from the start, I'd rather start out strong than wait till it breaks to upgrade. I have a few weeks before I'll be making the purchase so I'll continue to educate myself here until then. If anyone has any input on whether the R1 parts are easily attainable, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hey all, new guy here from Ottawa, Canada. I've already got a few non-crawler RCs (TT01 drift/basher/1st dirt cheap RC, Lunchbox re-re basher, vintage Clodbuster) and recently decided I'd like to try crawling after watching tons of videos and looking at pictures on various forums and RC sites over the last little while. Waiting on a CR-01 at my LHS, and just ordered a Gmade R1 from CKRC... an SCX10 sure was tempting, but there's already a lot of those around and I like to do things a little differently.

Without fail, everyday we get tons of newbies posting that they have arrived at our site. While this is great and we welcome you, we don't need a thread for every single person.

If you start a thread like that someone will most likely send you to this thread.

Give us the general info:
Who you are?
What kind of rig you have?
Where you live?

If you have a specific question, be sure to use the search feature, and look around. There is a good chance it's been asked before, if not bring it on!

Jason

TBH, be happy you have noobs signing up for the site. It obviously exposing people to the sport and also to the vendors as well, which in turns means $ for your SPONSORS!

Just sayin...
