Attn: NEWBIES POST HERE<<<<<<

Hello all, another newbie to the site. I hail from Victoria, Australia. Vehicles in my collection are 4x4 slash, axial wraith, summit, stretched summit, Scania R620 highline truck I am building, 6x6 crawler and some cheapies I was given.

Hello,
I’m Chris and just getting back into Rc cars after about a 20 year break. My son is just getting into it so I decided to buy another vehicle myself. We are in Crystal Lake Illinois. I picked up a used Axial Yati that was only use d a couple times for myself and ordered a new Traxxas Slash for my son. It’s a great platform for him to learn on.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forums here, got my first Axial (Jeep rtr) about 2 years ago and just finished my Demon SG4C a few weeks ago. I've been in the RC world for like 30 years now, have toys from the Tamtech 1/24 scales from 1980's, to my SC10 4x4, RC-8, and a couple crawlers.

Anyway, have a great Turkey Day and see you around!

Hi,

I'm about to get my first crawler, and I've been reading about it lately.
My kids' cheap RC cars not working any more.
I built a 450 heli and other stuff several years ago, so I don't mind mods and fixing. Plus my kids like to help me building bikes and fixing things. So I got them a crawler we can fix in the future, and they can drive when I go to mountain biking. Specially I like rocky technical trails, it'll be fun.

It's a great forum here. Look forward to learning more about crawling.

Thanks

Hello everyone, name is Drew and I'm new to the R/C game. Well i had one when i was a kid, bout 30yrs ago. Got back into it because I'm interested in the 1/24 scale crawlers. I've always built 1/24 scale kits and want to incorporate that into bodies for the crawlers. Hoping to learn from some experienced builders on upgrades and such. Just got my 1st crawler(ECX Temper) and already have a ton of questions.

Thanks to everyone for any help i receive ahead of time.

Hey,
New profile, but I've been around stalking this forum for more then 10 years. Man, a lot has changed in that amount of time! So many great ideas, and help here. Working on building my first custom crawler. Been around the R/C scene for around 18 years or so driving buggies. I've moved around a lot for work, but originally from Colorado and now in North Texas.

Good morning all.

My self and my brother-in-law have scale trail crawlers. We are looking for like minded folks looking for, or wanting to join two other drivers in the Olympia ,lacey, Tumwater area. We have a ten gate with one bonus gate course. Will be posting some pics soon of rigs and course.
You all know the drill time to go to work. Peace...

Good morning all.

I joined the scale crawler rankes. Or at least I will on Christmas morning when I get to open mine.

I purchased a traction hobby cragsman c and it’s wrapped up under the tree.

I am having a hard time finding a forum with any section dedicated to this brand.

This is my first crawler and my first hobby grade rc.

I look forward to learning a lot from everyone.

Howdy Gang!

New crawler from coastal Texas here. I've been in and out of the RC hobby for probably 35 years, starting late 80's with a Frog. Bashed, Raced, Modded, built Franken cars, sold most of it around Y2K when I started a family, skipped the Nitro Craze/Traxxas Hayday years, restarted the hobby about 4 years ago, and now mostly bash 1/10 MT/SCT and 1/8 buggy Truggies... Most recent build was a Tekno SCT410 I picked up used/cheap, and turned into a monster-ish beetle.

Recently had a chance to play with a cheap china 6x6 crawler (YY2003) and had more fun with it than I expected (even though I broke it twice in three batteries - chitty press fit pinions) Now I got the bug for a trail runner... Anyway, I'll try not to bug ya'll too much, but I am sure I'll have questions...

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi there!

I'm new to the forum (also to the crawling world) and just wanna introduce myself.

My name is Jordi (George in English) I'm 42 y/o, from Barcelona, Spain.
Right now I have only two crawlers in my collection, both purchased in December: A Ftx Kanyon and a Traxxas Trx-4.

It's a pleasure for me to be here and be part of such a marvelous hobby. Cheers, fellas!
BTW: Please excuse my terrible english

Walter W. I have an exceed maxstone 1/10 as my first crawler rig. Reside in Dothan Al. Looking to build 1/6 or 1/5 scale from scratch.

Walter w here from Dothan Alabama. I've been running around with my exceed maxstone for a while now and have some questions. How can I lower my cg and what can I do to weigh down the front and rear axle so they stay on the ground? It has a bad habit of lifting the right front and rear left of the ground when under full throttle. Any suggestions are appreciated.
