any crawlers in MN?

I was also thinking a truck-I was kind of thinking a mono colored pic like rccrawler.com, but I don't want to steal their pic. I also like the idea of it crawling across the name(maybe the front tire flexing into the 'w' and the rear coming over the 'a' in 'crawling'?)
 
It would be cool to have a small one of the state and the name of our group and a crawler with one tire on the top of the state and it would be mono colored.

Also what happened to the small scale crawlers forum?

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone who made it for the GTG. Despite the cold, wind, and rain, it was a good time. I thin we are definately headed in the right direction, and I'm glad to see so many eager people to really get this off the ground. This is awesome, I'm glad to be a part of what's going on!

BTW. I got the chassis done. I'm just waiting for the electronics to show up and figure out the dig set up. She's flexy, almost a little too much. Sounds like y'all'll (:mrgreen:) get to see it May 13th?
 
New radio is 1 week away. Dig is a ways out. I'll have that in time for the IA comp. I gotta be able to pratice with it ya know.

Sounds like the GTG was a good time regardless of the weather. Unfortunatly I have been waiting on some alu knuckles for a couple weeks now, so my truck is down. Hope to make it to the next one.

Speedsport; we still need to get together some time and do a little local crawling. I was out messing aroun at Hiniker pond when i broke my knuckle. There were some alright little spots there. I have been riding my motorcycle around looking for more spots.
 
9GUY9 sounds good I have been looking around also. If you have not looked back on the thread I will tell you I got fired on friday. So for now I have a lot of free time.
 
Actuily I will be up tomorrow. Dont you love it wen things get changed on ya all the time. I should be done around 10:30-11:00am. So if any one is available to get to gether that would be great. I will PM you my # if you dont have it all ready.

*Sorry guys, I forgot I have to help a buddy move the 13th so I have to change my vote. I don't know how long I'll be helping him so I don't want to say I'll be there when I can't say for sure.
 
Hey guys... I've been thinking of changing my vote to the 20th also. It's my birthday on the 13th, and I think my parents and/or my girlfriend are planning something. Nothing in particular, just lunch and/or dinner or whatever.
I see that there are a few others that can't make it on the 13th, so maybe changing our votes to the 20th might be a good idea... That is as long as there aren't people that are totally against the 20th. If those of us that have voted for the 13th can make it on the 20th, that'd be nice. Unfortunatly it's a week further away, but I think if we can do it to were more of us can get together again it would be better. I'm not saying that a bunch of us can't get together on both weekends, but something more "official" when we all can meet.
If it does end up staying the 13th, that's fine for me too... I just may be showing up late, leaving early, staying the whole time, or even just making an apperence. I don't know everything yet. Just bringing up the other option.
So what's evereyone think?

Either weekend would work for me as well. I'm at a stall with my crawler until the new radio shows up, so I've started traing in to the mud truck. I gotta have it ready by Memorial weekend, so the 20th is going to be getting in to "Crunch Time". I'll be able to make it that day, but depending on how much work still needs to be done, I might not stay too long.

Anyone feel like re-plumbing a brake system and hydraulic steering system?

I also changed my vote for the gtg to the 20th to accommodate as many as possible. I'd really like to see a full turn out of everyone who posts up here.
Lets get it together guys, the season is underway. I think we might as well change our season this year to about 5-6 comps?
