any crawlers in MN?

Chris, are you gonna be able to find it ok with adoggs maps posted?
I'd give you my cell #, but I droped it in a puddle today and it's not working, not sure if it will come back to life by tomorrow (or ever) for me to bring with tomorrow.
Maybe someone else can PM you their cell # just in case?
Guys.

I'm exactly sure how to read it (Adogg told me the other week but my short memory loss kicked in), so correct me if I'm wrong... I think I'm running on channel 71 and a frequency of 75.610MHz? (if that sounds right:?: )

P.S. good ups on the map Adogg!

You are correct... 75.610MHz is a 75MHZ Channel #71.

I am currently running on Ch: 66 (75.510MHz) on my TLT with a set of Ch: 82 crystals as spares. And I have xmod's Ch: 9 (27.075MHz) on my Clod with channels 4,7,8,10,11 as spares...

frequency solution

Somone bring a notebook and a pen , kinda like a register as ya show up , before ya start crawl'n just look at the list , if yours isnt on there write it down

later on down the line make up a poster board with all the frequencys and put a clothse pin on the board next to the Freq. dont run till ya get the clothse pin on your antenna

as far as what freq's were on (my van) 1 is a Nylint , and the other 2 are on Spectrum radios (fm)

see ya guys/gals &kids at the GTG tomorrow

Ok, so my predictions so far... 1%:Cloudy, 4%:The occational drizzle/rain, 15%: Rain, 80%:G** Dam* it, It's still f***ing raining!!!
I think we will be meeting under the bridge on Black Dog for this GTG. Just call it a hunch...

I think we definetly need a vote on this one. Personally I like mncrawlers.com We don't have to alter it in any way to get a web page, and not too many letters to remember for new users or potential joiners who want to check us out in the future.

I still say we should add Rc because there is actual 1:1 crawling clubs and there might be some confusion??

Thats only the 2 extra letters. MNRCcrawlers.com

Also as far as hosting goes, how many webpages do we think we'll want/need??

Well either would be fine with me, I'm easy.;-)
Lets see what everyone else thinks.
Guys???

MNRCCrawlers.com
Or
MNCrawlers.com

Post up your thoughts.

I like MNRCCrawlers.com... I agree about adding the 'RC' to distinguish ourselves from the 1:1's.

I also like MNRCCrawlers.com.

Adogg13x thanks for taking me over there it was fun.

It was nice getting to meet all of you. It was fun.

I would be willing to be one of the judges or some thing.

by the way , this is Pro beater's dad

Welcome aboard...

MNRCRockCrawling.com works for me too... That might be a little better cause because it's the literal 'long' version of our abreviated MNRCRC.

PS: still working on the pics... soon, soon...

Alright!!! A few pics of todays GTG. You others don't know what you missed.;-)
See you at the next one...

I've also been doing some looking around for window decals... Ive found a couple good sites for 1:1 stuff, but it seems to be harder for the smaller stuff. I'm going to PM Jason and see who he uses for the decals that they sell here.
The decals for 1:1's are vinyl, about 2" tall and 10" wide. They can be made in just about any color. prices are about $6-8 each + shipping... (i noticed that the more you buy the lesser the shipping on each (for exp: 1 decal at $7 + $8 shipping = $15 each, but 10 decals at $7 + $9 shipping = $7.90 each). not too bad if there are a few of us that want to but them. let me know if you like any of these. If there's enough interest, we could all go in on an order

Here are a few examples of some of the fonts that jumped out at me...
I kinda like the first one myself.

(the last one is the same as the first, just with a colored border. it also costs twice as much)

I've been working on a logo. Here's what I have so far. I'm trying to incorporate Adogg's font into the logo. Tell me what you think.
