Thanks guys for wishing me a happy b-day. Sorry I have not been on here latley. I'm looking for a new job. Things have gotten so bad at work that I can not bring myself to go in any more. To make a long story short I have been harased (spelling) for a long time and supervisors etc. wont do any thing about it. I will be at the GTG. I still have to have some fun :0)~ Is it still at the mall? Also what time? Freetimecrawler I pmed you my # at one point do you still have it?

I'm sorry to hear the bad times your going thru...but your right-having some fun will at least get your mind off of things for a while and help you relax. :) The best I know it is still at the mall(see previous posts for directions-Freetime and Adogg had posted them a few times) and I think it's basically at 1p...I will be there around 2p. We'll see you there!!!

Chris, sorry to hear about your bad times at work, I've been there, and it sucks.
I think I wrote your number down at one time, but have lost it somewhere in this pile on my desk. The GTG is near the Burnsville Center. The directions are posted a few post above. It's pretty easy to find.
PM me your number and I'll give you a call.

Coming up 169 from Mankato, just take hwy 13 through Savage, and make a Right on Co Rd 5, take that South to Mc Andrews Rd (which in a block North of Co Rd 42/Crystal Lk Rd) and take a Left, we'll be down a block or so on the Right side at Irving and Mc Andrews Rd. You won't miss the crawlers, you can see us from Mc Andrews Rd as you approach.

I HATE HUB HOBBY! I HATE HUB HOBBY!! I HATE HUB HOBBY!!!

I think they sold me some f***ed up batteries and a cheap azz charger:evil: I've only run the one (of 2 that I bought) battery pack not even 10 times and already it's not holding a charge!! I've got my other one charging right now and hopefully this one holds a charge longer or i'm gonna be even more pissed. I'll never shop there again!!!

Settle, settle...;-) They are good for only the occational part, paint, or just to browse.
What were the packs for? If you're looking for a custom pack, try CheapBatteryPacks.com. They have a nice selection of different size cells and can assemble just about any size pack and configuration. All the packs that I have done for my crawlers have been from them. As well as my 3800SC & 4200SC 6-cell packs for my TC4. Come to think about it, nearly all my vehicles have packs from them.

I'm feeling better now-I just needed to rant for a minute(plus it got me to 50 posts-so I'm no longer a newbie;-) ). Thanks for the link. I'm still trying to figure out how to mount my batteries cause I don't like how I have 'em now. I want to have 'em on the axle support like you got 'em 'Dogg to lower the 'cg'...I have a few ideas-it's just a matter of settling on one and making it work.

Attention: guys, they are predicting rain for most of Saturday :x... We all know how reliable weather forecasters are, but if it does happen we should have a backup plan just in case. I know it isn't the greatest spot, but I propose if we are rained out maybe we could meet under the bridge at 35W & Black Dog Road. It isn't too far away from the mall (just north a few miles on 35W), and under the wide bridge we should be pretty dry. Post what you guys think, and hope for sun ;-)

Blackdog as a back up

i'm down to go to balckdog if it rains , i have my PRP chassis truck , and i just got my dad's custom scale chassis crawler done , and the kiddo has his nylint , so we'll be there With a digital camera

we still talking the same time around 1or2pm? i also have some marker ideas if a couple guys are interested , or is it basically going to be a free for all??

anyone think about Minnehaha falls area for crawl'n??

I like the idea of Blackdog as the backup. How about this. If it's raining (or anything falling from the sky) in B'ville while your on the freeway going to the primary meeting location by Cub, just keep going and proceed directly to Blackdog. If it's not, we'll meet at the primary location. If it then begins to rain, we can pack up amd move. I'm bringing a chair this time. I don't think I'm gonna have my crawler done, but my old chassis is still a roller, so maybe I'll toss the electronics in that and run it. See you guys (and gals?) tomorrow.

Well guys I was fired today after talking to my HR. They are calling it a volintary termination. Can you believe this crap. They wouldn't do any thing with the situation and it is my fault. Well I still really want to come and hang out with you guys tomorrow. Could I get some ones # incase i can not find the spot? Also can I get directions for the backup location.

I like the idea of the alternate meeting spot being the Black Dog spot. Its a 6 lane Hwy bridge, so there is quite a span.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, for directions to the alternate Location:

> Going Southbound on I-35W: Coming from North of the river (heading away from downtown/494 loop). Take the Black Dog Rd W, exit 4B. Then bear right under the bridge.

> Going Northbound on I-35: Coming from South of the river (heading towards downtown). Take the I-35W N route(NOT 35E) Exit on Black Dog Rd W, exit 4B. Turn left, head under the bridge.

And just for sh*ts and giggles, I have some photos/maps of the locations... Courtisy of google earth and google maps.

Nice job! There should be no reason someone couldn't find it now! I heard it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow, adn looking at the type of rain that's outside right now, I'd say it's one of those "all weekend while your camping" type of rains. Guess we'll see. Arlington dirt track has their season opener Sat. night. I hope that's not rained out!

I'm exactly sure how to read it (Adogg told me the other week but my short memory loss kicked in), so correct me if I'm wrong... I think I'm running on channel 71 and a frequency of 75.610MHz? (if that sounds right:?: )

P.S. good ups on the map Adogg!

The 75.610 MHz is the # we're looking for.

As Rerock said, "I'm bringing a chair this time"
might be a good idea guys to bring a lawn chair if you have one.
We should take the time tomorrow to sit and pow wow on a club name and some organization. Bring your idea's to share. Maybe a notepad and pen for exchanging phone #'s, etc.
