any crawlers in MN?

im a little foggy on where exactly we meet for the comps? is it in front of the paddle boat landing?

Stay to your right when you enter the park, the paddle boat parking is on the left, we're on the right side of the lot by the main ranger building. You won't miss the group of crawlers.

Yeah thats scary what happened with the bridge....

Since Troy hasn't posted a thread for our next comp yet, figured I would post here that I will not be able to make it. Our clubs going wheeling that weekend. And I am at the point that I am putting wheeling at a higher priority, as I do not get the chance to do it as often.

I should have my front bumper finished by this trip too. Right now all I have is the lower base plate that bolts to the frame. I had these parts cut on a CNC plasma cutter. Its two pieces of 1/4" steel, the red base plate is welded to the front of the frame. And the black plate will be the base of the bumper, and bolts up to the red piece. There are also two side brackets that bolt to the frame, which will be part of the bumper.

:shock:Sweet, no Mike? I mean sorry to hear that Mike. 1:1 wheeling is always more fun. Troy where is the next comp info thread?

Ryan

Finally got a scaler. It is a full tube Rubicon with beadlocks and a Swampers. It does okay, I have already started tweaking it. I will post some pics either later tonight or tomorrow. Still have to take it out on the true rocks and trails. Been "testing" in my basement and so far I like it.

Thanks,
Casey

What should I look for when buying a brushless set up? I will be putting on in the 2.2. I want to know what specs to look for.

Thanks

For an in store LHS purchase, the Novak BL crawler system is what I'm going with for my new truck. Ryan (Bigbaaller) has several, and seems to like them well. If you're willing to order on-line? John Rob Holmes is the man, he can also answer any of your questions as well. I have the HH OG Revolver and Quark in my 2.2 now for over a year and love that.
