any crawlers in MN?

Nope, but I will be adding one. I will add a brace to the top of the axle later this week, to mount it to. Then I will need a cross member in the frame, that it will connect to. It will look much better then that thing... That was just playing with the spring hanger design.

New DX7, of course to make the full use of it, I'll need duel ESC's on the clod, might as well go duel brushless :) ]

Almost like you read my mind, been looking for good deal on a dx6 or 7 all week now on ebay. If I get the promotion at work I'll be ordering up another mamba max next week. Zach found a cheap brushless motor very similar in size to the original revolver. He ordered one for his TLT, if it works well I'll be ordering two more for my clod. Sure the power upgrade will cost about $520 but if I want to place the top 5 at nationals, it's the only way. I've upgraded the chassis and axle performance output as far as I can currently go, electronics are the only thing left. I could do it one step at time, I already have one of the esc's installed. I could go without the brushless motors for a while. I've been needing a ghz radio upgrade since day one. Crystals suck.

I picked up the DX7 today. Kevin was kind enough to help me set it up for the clod for now. It only comes with One Rx, I ordered 2 more, but they're back ordered, along with the radio. For now its only set up for 4ws, as soon as I get my 2nd LRP ESC back, I'm going to hook up duel ESC's.
I'm really hoping for that High-lift chassis to show tomorrow, I want to get started on that build. I also have 2 comp rigs that need repair.

Working on my scaler today. I have the axles done (lockked w/bearings), links mounted, chassis assembled (K2-3L). I have to mount the body (front of a hi-lift) and start making a flat bed. The tires/rims are Tamiya Hummer rims with 1.9 narrowed Moabs. I can't wait. Shocks won't be here until next weekend and am waiting for steel pede yokes.

Thanks,
Casey

Those Hi-lift bodied flatbeds seem to be a pretty popular build right now.
Can't wait to see your's Casey. Are you doing a build thread on it?
Speaking of H-L's, I'm bummed today, I had to run to the LHS, and missed the mailman, they didn't want to leave my package in the hall of a secured building. I won't be able to get my new H-L chassis until Mon now :-( I wanted to get working on it today.
I have a couple of other small projects, but I really wanted to get started on that today.
I did pick up some more material for making 4 more Hilift jacks. Probeater mentioned he wanted one for his new scaler build.

FJ40 build is going good :)

Looks ok but where is the trail paint? No rust no dents? No cage? Just Pactra Rally green. J/k looks good really like them tires and the chassis has all the right bends.

Thanks Ben, I will paint the inside with rust colored paint, then back that with black or something. But for now I just want to finsih all the main things to get it running. And I am not going to add fake scratches to it, I'll let that happen :) It isn't rally green either, its John deer green. One of the factory colors was a spot on match for john deer green. Made it easy to get the same look,

Made some gate jigs today, had to bend the legs after I realized I am a idiot  I measured them inside to inside, not outside to outside.... But they are good now, should make setting up the courses a little easier when we want a narrow gate. Now more super narrow gates "thumbsup"
