I'm thinking there needs to be a specific forum for HSP Pangolin, Redcat Everest, and Exceed Maxstone 10 rigs. They all are identical rigs and there are quite a few posts randomly placed in multiple forums. Anybody know what it would take to get a moderator to create another forum? "thumbsup"

I think you're right. I guess someone should pm a mod.

Does pretty good gonna order a 20t motor today needs alot more wheel speed, made my own 4link lower mount to bolts to the stock one so i don't have any fitment issues due to the thickness also filled up the shocks with more oil seemed to help out quite a bit with the torque twist, i see tractor tires in my near future lol

I like the Blazer body on it. Getting rid of the stock body is one of the best upgrades for a E10, after chucking the turd of a motor.
All I need to build another one is a tranny, tranny plate and a set of links. I'm thinking I may need a mudder now "thumbsup"
Finished up my daughters foo-foo colored Chevy body tonight. I'll get some pic's posted so everyone can have a good chuckle. Looks like a friggin Easter egg :lmao: but she loves it "thumbsup" Scored me a bunch of hugs and the best dad in the world award for a couple of days anyway

Me and a buddy found some slop today both are redcat everests 8) his has an axial 27t perfect mud motor but needs a screen around it because it hates getting too much dirt in it

As promised, the Redcat FOOFOO 10

Added 3/4" tubing to the shocks and I think the flex seems about right. Not as cartoonish as it was stock. I hated drilling holes in it for the lights, but the kiddo had to have turn signals and all that goes with em. ;-)

Made some through the hood headers and also cut some lugs on the stock tires till i can get some different ones, already smoked the stock motor in it due to not enough wheel speed and too much peanut butter mud but i got a rc4wd 20t on the way

I run a 12 tooth pinion with a 27T and a 2s Lipo. Seems to be plenty low geared. It will slow crawl like crazy. In my opinion a 12 tooth should be about right on your 20T.
If you find a spur that fits let me know. So far mine is holding up, but I'm sure it'll let go at the worst time.

It might have been because my battery was dead at the time lol i threw it on charged then headed off to the drag strip for some test and tune so haven't got a chance to run it yet

Well i got to messing with it and found out i had the wheels too tight on the axles and wasn't allowing enough movement so i loosened them up a bit and now she slings some mud it's loving the cheap rc4wd 20t motor so far i have $155 into the rig lol

Who'd of thought these would sell like hot cakes took me a week and finally nabbed one at $145 shipped they're out of stock everywhere

Tried to tell everyone how good a deal this truck was but hardly anyone listened, you know after almost 50 years of RC's a fella gets kinda tired of throwing most everything away to make one reliable and fun with all new and expensive parts, these trucks remind me of the Slash, you can toss them to the kids and get a whole truck back instead of broken rigs and tears, I still believe it's the best crawler/ beater truck for the money, some are just kinda slow, and so is the truck till you change the motor, lol...

And in case your wondering, I'm still running the solid rod buggy chassis I built from scrap, added a 20t motor, DNA assassin wheels with cut boggers and wideners, everything else is bone stock.... And I, or the grand kids, or my friends... have yet to break even a single part on it! These things are tough!!

I know what you're sayin. When I mention the E10 people jump right to bashing on it, but it is a great rig for the money. My daughters is bone stock except for modified lockers and a 25T motor, and she beats the snot out of that poor thing and it hasn't missed a beat! Mine doesn't really count any more because I've reworked the whole truck, but not a single Redcat part that's left on it has given a bit of trouble except for a servo that was creating a goofy glitch. $15 on ebay for another one and back to thrashing it.
Wish I'd bought an extra one when they were 135 bucks!
