First time using this. Calling it oil is being a bit generous imho lol. I got the stuff from Kyosho so it came in a plastic jar rather than a squeeze bottle which was just as well because I can't imagine it would come out of that little hole.

i switched from 500k to 1mio cst for the front diff, cause for me 500k was to thin. i used a screw drive to put it in the diff. Will test it if my little monster is back ready to run. If this is still to thin i have 2mio in the shelf. the 1mio and 2mio from xtra speed came in a small can. it took nearly 20 hours for the 1 mio to settle in the diff:mrgreen:. if i test it by hand it is nearly looked now, will see it on the next run.8)

I literally greased my front diff with the lightest grease I could find in an effort to help my yeti turn, I have swapped out the locker in the rear for an open diff that I use either 300k or 500k.... I've even dremel'd Arm's and knuckles to fit with less castor with no sucess.

How are your Yeti's turning with the 500k and 1m oils in the front?? Still Locked rear??? 25ft turning radius's?

Mine's not finished yet but I think for my use its will be ok. I plan on this being mainly a low speed trail truck with minimal higher speed use.

If these were real race cars I would try softer front springs and/or more camber to get it to turn.

I use this in the front diff, which allows for a tiny bit of slip.

Except it shows up to anyone who is looking for new posts and they are going to check it out. That’s how I got here.

the yeti xl is kinda a sore spot it killed the hobby for some and frustrated others to the point they wont talk about that money pit
it almost killed axial
there are only 5 left know to still run
good luck getting parts if ya break it and you will almost everytime you run it
what little info we have here is probably the best if not only info you will find on this turd here and maybe you tube but thats iffy
mine sits on the shelf 99 % of the time and when i do run it it has to be a special occasion like a group run up the back door or something like that

6... I think I ran mine a dozen times and now it's parked. I generally get it out if there's some snow (so not for the last few years) but other than that... it's a cat toy that drips diff oil on the floor.

its a oil thread about the axial yeti so saying the yeti is old and dated and discontinued along time ago is on topic and the same poster posted in other yeti threads looking for information on a almost dead platform so ya relevant

and besides when has it ever been a problem on rcc going off topic not that the yeti is off topic on a thread in the yeti section but ya

Weird, I read the thread but somehow missed the yeti references. Everything makes much more sense now.
