Going by statistics and how they figure them St. Louis is the most dangerous city in the USA. I live ~60ish miles from the heart of down town STL.

I would walk unarmed through the east side of STL at 2am before walking through the south side of Chicago at 2pm.

I wonder how much of that was for simple possession. That sure seems like a lot of resources spent chasing potheads.

Chicago is the last place on this planet I would want to go.. Just look what Chicago politics have done to Washington with President moron in office.

I can't stand cities of any kind so I'm not just picking on Chicago.. Any place with more than 3 stop lights is too busy for me.

I don't think there has been 49 shootings in my entire state since I was been born.

ohh now, Chicago is an amazing city full of art, festivals, miles of beaches, amazing food and a lot of micro breweries and bars "thumbsup"

Before I moved here from Pittsburgh (originally from Ohio), I used to hang out at a bar with this old guy, born and raised on the south side, and he told me: Johnny, stay away from the south side... you hear me, you have no business going down there.

I still remember his warning... the only reason I ever go through there is straight to the SkyWay (90/94) and even then I take a pretty safe way... I have gotten turned around down there before and it can be intimidating... dude's walking right up to your car looking in the windows... then they get introduced to my puppies ;-)

Here's what you have to deal with on the north side. This is right around the corner from Wrigley Field, you can see the stadium lights in the upper left hand corner... I've actually had more trouble in that part of town than anywhere else... damn frat boys.

without Chicago where would John Hughes have shot all of those 80's classics?

But seriously if you outlaw guns only outlaws will have guns. It's an old cliche but its true. I consider myself fairly liberal, but I own a number of guns and I will fight to the death to keep that a cornerstone freedom.

Sometimes your friends are supposed to have your back, and sometimes they need to pull your dumb, drunk ass out of trouble.

This guy has no friends.

And sometimes they need to be left alone to realize how big of a jackass they really are. ;-)
