So should acts like Oklahoma City be seen as Christians or Catholics killing Americans instead of acts of Domestic Terrorism then?

No. Here is where the canadian attack becomes religion based...

Incident number 1 (the running over) was hours after 6 CF-18's left cold lake to head over and do some bombing. The jets officially signified Canada's involvement.

The attacks were brought on by converted jihadist extremists. The guy that shot the honor guard had most recently had his passport taken away because he was one of 75 (give or take) Canadians trying to get to Afghanistan to par take in jihadist extremist terrorist training camps.

Should it be labeled as X religion terror attacks? not really. But ISIS is using Jihadism as its excuse for all this crap. So thats how the label goes.

If you are talking about our representatives in government, I would highly, highly doubt any of them are rooting for radical Islam to destroy America.

Having said that, we have been supporting/funding/arming various radial factions in the middle east for decades, most of whom have eventually turned against us, though in truth they were all along just enemies of our enemies and never really our allies to begin with.
