WTF is going on! 27 dead 18 kids in Newtown CT school shooting

I am not sure of how the shooter died, the police simply said, "deceased." I would love to know that the police shot him. I hope that he was out of ammo and feeling helpless. Do know that I mean the shooter, of course.

I'm sure he died a man who fealt the world was against him, with no hope things would improve, and entirely alone. That's pretty sad, and wishing a man to have been killed as justice, isn't justice at all. There is no glory in it.

This is horrible, i can hardly believe that some ass hole went shooting kids. Wtf he killed innocent children. All these mass shootings going on lately is really dissapointing, and i cant imagine how the people and there familys lifes must have changed so dramaticly. Theses crazy freaks give Us responsible gun owners a bad reputation. Now with all the plublicity on assualt rifles, and obama being one of the most anti gun politithion weve had, i guess all of us in the U.S. can look forward to future gun bans.

Worst part is the media was given the wrong info. It was Adam Lanza, Ryan's 20 year old brother. The hand guns he had were not obtained legally anyways, so how are MORE laws going to help? Hmmmm?

No kidding they want to ban firearms to keep them out of the hands of certian people, and to prevent incidents such as this one but, when do criminals follow the law?

He did not die a man he died a worthless *****. .... Hopefully he died painfully and slow. He is the type that deserves pure torture. He killed kids with no remorse. WTF is wrong with people... Main reason why I always carry now. Never know when and where some chicken shit ass hat will try something.

Thoughts and prayers to the families and community.

Well put sir. Im sure you guys have a plan for something like this. Ive told my daughters to hide. If you're not rushed out of the building imediately by a teacher or police officer, just hide and wait. What else can they really do?

I know we have many different emergency plans and we practice them on a regular basis. Practicing for a shooter in the building is always creepy.

Exactly, we banned drugs, drugs are illegal. that worked so well that we dont even have a drug problem in the U.S now! and its almost impossible to get drugs!!! Right?

But I digress, this thread is about the waste of flesh that ruined a bunch of innocent lives. I dont really beleive in hell, but if there is one i hope he rots for eternity.

We need to have a country that holds people accountable for their actions. Punishment that fits the crime. Stop letting the media glorify these actions giving them the popularity they are trying to get.

I should never have to discuss this type of thing with my 4 year old. Telling him what to do if someone comes to his school and starts hurting people. Its so frustrating because my son said he would beat them up..... Seriously how do I make this point to a 4 year old so he understands the situation. This world is so ass backwards.

Newtown is my hometown. And all of you who are on here worried about your guns being taken away should have some respect and worry about someone other than yourselves right now.

I'm worried about prevention of futur attacks at our schools. The safe guards that have been put into place are not working...

Its more than schools, its parks, theaters....resturaunts....any place where large numbers of people gather ( except gun shows )

Police can only do so much....

Over time, our ability to protect ourself with force has been eroding....one city ordinance/law at a time...

these are the results....

Thats fine but do it another time. But you want to worry about prevention at schools and parks etc? How about preventing the mindless A-holes like the 44 year old father who shot his seven year old in the face last weekend because he was too stupid to follow basic gun safety?
Metro - Pa. man accidentally shoots and kills 7-year-old son in gun store parking lot

And before ANYONE accuses me of being a gun hating liberal know first that I am an ex Marine and I OWN 2 firearms. I believe in the right to bear arms and do it OPENLY. Not this concealed carry crap. I just don't think right now is the time or place to whine about gun control laws. I already had one dip shit at work say that this was probably a set up my obama and Biden.... REALLY? Mindless idiots like that are what truly put our gun rights in jeopardy.

wasnt going to post anything about the tragic school shooting today in Connecticut but I have so many emotions and feelings about it I felt the need to share...First and foremost I am keeping the victims and families in my thoughts and prayers..Godbless you...

What a tragedy...a senseless tragedy that has touched the entire country...when will we see to take action against these attacks on our youth..I was in CO when Columbine happened and remember how sad and helpless I felt..I feel that same way now..threats of incarceration and stricter gun laws are not stopping these attacks on our children and their children...the cowards that commit these acts need to be delt with accordingly and swiftly..schools and public places need to adopt a plan for what to do when this happens..1 teacher or administrator legally armed and trained could have saved lives today in connecticut...stricter gun laws take guns out of the hands of responisble people..not out of the hands of cowards....something needs to be done..this is the time to take action and defend our freedoms and our childrens futures....

Godbless the Victims and their families....

To the cowards who committed this act....may you rot in hell for eternity.....

Wrong!!!!! They were legally purchased(as has now been confirmed by multiple agencies) by his mother(also a victim of this senseless tragedy).

The weapons used were a Glock, A Sig Sauer and a .223 Bushmaster rifle. I guess those brands will be the first to be taken off of the market by the zealous gun haters !!!!!

Rant over !!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people affected by today's events, even more to the children that will live what they saw today for the rest of their lives

Legally purchased by his mother..... Again another problem. So was he legally licensed or permitted to use the weapons.

That's like blaming me if my handgun was stolen and then a crime was committed with it. Gun laws will not solve the problem..... Bad people will always find a way to do bad things. Eventually the only people who will have weapons will be the police and the bad guys. We will have to defend our families with harsh language and hope no one gets offended.

bad people do bad things.....a kid just recently had a pentagram or swastica carved into his back by his dad:evil:
moms cut off babies arms:evil:
kid gets .........you get the picture.

Its violence, not gun violence ( the link on 1st page about the 22 kids cut in china is godo example )

I just think the best way to prevent such attacks, is with guns, mace, knifes.

teachers should be allowed to cary whatever type of self defence the wish too
so long as its a legal weapon...

I also think kids should be allowed to carry weapons ( so long as its legal )
I used to carry a pocket knife....I never stabbed anyone with it.

This thread is about a trajady.....WTF is going on!
well, nobody is armed at most schools.....thats whats going on!

I'm not in favor of gun control(I own 2 registered to me) but a gun legally purchased is a gun legally purchased!!! What cannot be controlled is what people do with them after the legal purchase. I agree...gun control is not the solution. Edit.... I just saw a news report that stated that the shooter might possibly have been autistic and also had a personality disorder.

This is so sad, I agree with alot said here, and my thoughts go out to anyone involved.

Some more news, the Gunman was 24, and his kid went to the school. He had some sort of dispute with the principal and killed her among many others, i think i might have also heard he killed his own kid too, but im not positive

The gunman was 20(as was mentioned). I never heard that he had a kid who was at the school? And his mother taught there. Maybe that's a place to start to figure out a motive, I don't know.

People saying these people need to be held accountable for their actions, while that is true it's hard to do that when they kill themselves(or rarely get taken out by cops). If his brother was involved, I hope we can get some answers on why this shit happened?! This world is just going to shit. This is at least the fourth mass shooting like this.:oops:

I have heard a couple different accounts. A media clusterfawk as usual. Either way it was illegal for him to transport those firearms the way he did and I will bet the chances of him having a carry permit in NJ or CT was next to nil. CT stil has the Clinton Era AWB in place. It sounds like he took them from his mother, aka stolen. They said on the news the AR was found in the trunk of the car. The media does not seem to know much which is pretty normal for them.

THis was another one of those very bad things that happen and cannot really be prevented no matter what. I wish the best for the families involved and hopefully the media and .gov does not use them as a cause for more laws that will not do any good.

Just one very sad example that this type of senseless shit has been happening for a long time.
