WTF is going on! 27 dead 18 kids in Newtown CT school shooting

It's very sad indeed I wish people would just seek hlep.....

But as for the guns involved I see it like this, If someone is nuts they will find a way to cause the same result in one way or another.

1. guns (used alot)
2. bombs (used alot)
3. old days it was bottles without seals and nut case people laced the contents.
4. older days it was razzor blades in apples.

I guess my point is the crazzys will find a way to make it happen and we need to find a way to stop it before it happens.

My town was one of the first cases of a school shooting back in like 97 and I remember that day it happen and wish I could of been at the school to try and save some of the kids.

Here is an example that happened earlier today:

Chinese man on stabbing spree hurts 22 kids

First and foremost, I hope that all the people directly involved can find solace at some point in their lives from this. They have a long road ahead.

The gun control nuts are going to have a field day with this one.
Agreed and the problem isnt the guns is what pisses me off. Chicken shits is what the shooters are

I am a 3rd grade teacher here in Pa, I am horrified that anyone would act this way towards childern of any age. Thoughts and Prayers to all involved in this horrible tradgey.

This is such a tragedy. Its bad enough when this happens to adults. My wife went to pick our daughter up from daycare as soon as she heard about this. I can't wrap my head around what makes people think this kind of behavior ok. It's almost like people see other people going on shooting sprees and take it as initiative to do the same.

Ive been pondering how many nutcases are coming out if the wood work because of the whole Dec 21st dooms day BS. I'm stocking up on supplies early in the week (including Smith & Wesson products) and as Dec 21st draws closer my family and I will be staying home until at least some time during the 22nd. Maybe not even until the following Monday.

I have no words. As the tears stream down my face. My Wife brought my Son to see me at work who is 4. She knew that I needed his hugs and love. We are scared and fearful of what our society is becoming.

As I try to put into words my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone whom has been effected by this act.

Very sad to hear of this; the more info release the worse things seem to look. This hits rather close to home, seeing as how my wife is a teacher...kindergarten.

Another sad sight is watching what the media is going to do with this. Not necessarily on the topic of gun control, but the overall misrepresentation and irrelevant information being report on.

Case-in-point; cnn's home page has some bullet-points sharing key information and one reads, "Obama wipes away tears in speech." What the F does that have to do with 26 innocent (and 1 guilty) people dying in a tragic shooting?? Media will look to profit from other people's grief.

as a teacher, whats your take on allowing chl gun owners carry on campus?

as a parent, I would feel my child is safer ( just my 2c )
and that is hust probably be decides distict by district ( let the parents, facullty in each deistrict decide whats best for them )

Not sure about the district policy at this time. I am not willing to put my thoughts on this matter out to be examined and critizied. Anything I say could be used and taken out of context. It is a horrible thing, I am very sad.

I am not sure of how the shooter died, the police simply said, "deceased." I would love to know that the police shot him. I hope that he was out of ammo and feeling helpless. Do know that I mean the shooter, of course.

It's sad that people inflict pain on others instead of seeking help. I sympathisize with the families afflicted by these types of tragedies. What surprises me is the fact that people believe that society is going to shit. Here we are, people from near and far from tragedies, caring, sypathisizing, and reaching out to help those afflicted by tragedies and disasters. This a display of a healthy society with a conscience and desire for better, not a society in decay.

This is horrible, i can hardly believe that some ass hole went shooting kids. Wtf he killed innocent children. All these mass shootings going on lately is really dissapointing, and i cant imagine how the people and there familys lifes must have changed so dramaticly. Theses crazy freaks give Us responsible gun owners a bad reputation. Now with all the plublicity on assualt rifles, and obama being one of the most anti gun politithion weve had, i guess all of us in the U.S. can look forward to future gun bans.

Well put sir. Im sure you guys have a plan for something like this. Ive told my daughters to hide. If you're not rushed out of the building imediately by a teacher or police officer, just hide and wait. What else can they really do?

I was speechless when I heard about this. They're just children for Petes sake. Innocent, helpless children. No child should have to endure seeing their teacher or classmate shot, muchless in a safe haven such as a school.
