2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

Cant say enough about this weekend. Shout out to the ECSC crew, event sponsors, Rose Point Park, food truck, camping bro's and all my sponsors listed in my sig!

Well worth the effort to attend this event!

Now that I know how to say your name...I'm still going to call you Shane. :lmao:

Szczerba (pronounced "zerba")...why not just get rid of all those useless letters before it...

Guys,
I just got home...eating dinner and then will go dig in the truck for the sheets...

Please be patient.

A huge THANKS goes out to RC4WD, Rose point Park, all the sponsors, all the awesome people I met this weekend, all my Judging buddy's. What an incredible time this was, and unforgettable for sure. Also wanted to say sorry for the huge brain fart at the awards ceremony, due to lack of sleep to the owner of ticket "ending in 677" wasn't trying to take your wheels. Thanks John for confusing me....LOL. Can't wait till the next event that is put on. Thanks again for a great great time.....

Speaking of the awards ceremony......... John you owe me a couple beers..... it took a few to come down from ALMOST winning that tf2..... If you would have stretched it out any longer I was ready to grab it and run for the truck

Hahaha!!! All kidding aside John, once the sticker shock subsides I'd take a closer look at the bill the food truck handed you. If the exchange I witnessed Turtle go through is any indication math isn't their strong suit.

I'd say Math is not thier strong suit. They tried to keep Johnny's change from a 20 twice. Gave him change for a ten.

The food was pretty good bit they had a crappy attitude.

I'm still glad they were there and ate there all weekend.

Hobby store there was also a lifesaver. I wish we had a hobby store that had any scaler stuff in stock.

Great weekend.
Thanks again.

HOME. HOME. HOME.

Now to look at all this video. Seriously, what a weekend!

And here was my milestone for the trip home. I swear, most of the miles on this rig are from driving to crawling events!

Put some air in your tires! Lol

I have reviewed the Scale Sheets and the Scale Points Tally here is what I found:

RebelRacer
badBKO
Gecko_Joe

All submitted Scale Sheets (Thanks for making it easy with them being printed on card stock)

The odd thing was that Pain4WD was also on the same paper but he was logged.

I checked the Tally sheet and they were not written (see below)

Now that being said...I have added them into the score sheets and the Green are the changes.

I first want to reiterate that this is very embarrassing for me. I try to pride myself on accuracy. I need to implement some failsafes so this does not happen in the future.

I take full responsibility for it.

CLASS 2 CORRECTED SCORES

For Class 3 there was more of an impact. I have reached out to Youngblood and Chad30w to explain the mix up and I have to say that both of those guys are top notch competitors. They both graciously accepted the error and will be sending their winnings to the appropriate people. Thanks guys.

Clint, congrats on the Class 3 - 2nd Place Win...

John, things happen. You do one hell of a job and as our group recently held an event with around 130 trucks over 2 days, I completely understand. It really made me appreciate what you put into something of this size. I'm sure everyone understands. Also, hats off to Youngblood and Chad30w. These are the types of people that brought me away from racing and into the scale side.

I'm finely home and I will post my Thanks in the morning with a clear head.
Chad's were only good for 5.00 John

Thanks for making this right John! Like I posted in another thread....for many of us, ECSC is the event we plan our whole year around! Guys like me make plans for 2015 before the 2014 event is even over!

No hard feelings toward you or anyone else, I'm just happy to begin my plans for next year! "thumbsup"

I'm still very pleased with where I landed with all the amazing driving I saw out there while judging. Good job everyone!
