Little king of rose water crossing

Had a great time. Thank you John, Tom , Rc4wd, Rose Point , and all the sponsors. The king of Rose was amazing. Thank you Todd and the other guru's for the help in the King of Rose. Got to see and judge some amazing runs. Met new friends and got to hang out with some friends I don't get to see much. I really love these big comps. A 2015 series has me super excited. Applying for a passport very soon. And saving vacation time. Thanks again everyone for making this one awesome weekend !!!!

By the way...

Will be sponsoring one Lunch Ticket for each Judge and Marshal as a thanks for your dedication.

Seriously, this could have not been coordinated without your help.

Thanks,

John

Well got the list of bills from The Alternative Food Truck and it looks like some of the judges decided to feed their family or a small country.

Next year, I guess I need to put a value on them. My fault.

i didnt even use mine. soooo maybe that helps.:)

ask TURTLE what happened to him. :flipoff:

My meal ticket was worth $5 they said.... So your saying I should have been able to get fries too??? :p

I am just saying that it is part my fault, part the food truck's fault and is another learning curve. There will be a value on the card next year. ;-)

  • I didn't put a value on the ticket...
  • The Food Truck was supposed to be offering the judges a one patty burger or pulled pork sandwich and fries for the ticket.

Yeah they told me a $5 discount for my ticket... Didn't use it though because I went when they had no buns

Take your total and divide by 5... If more than what you have judges for

Big thanks to Rckrwlr, RC4WD, the Judges, Marshalls, support staff and the good folks at Rose Point. Another memorable weekend.

Great to make some new friends, and even better to see some old friends again.

Ahhhh...yeap...

And I had 5 tickets that were not used plus the ones that people are posting that they didn't use...

It is what it is...Just another thing to adjust next year.

Well, I'm half way home at this point, sitting at the airport in Dallas. I've been trying to remember all of you whom i met over the course of this weekend, faces, names, screen names, who I talked to about what, etc. That's a lot of memory organization I can't process right now. All I can say is that there was always a smile on the faces during conversations and I kinda felt like a celebrity this whole weekend. You all seem to know who I am and I didn't realize how many people follow my builds. For that, I am humbled and grateful. You guys are some of the friendliest people I've met, offering up the warmest of welcomes, treating me like an old friend and lending me tools when I needed them without hesitation. I saw a lot of amazing builds, incredible driving and some really challenging but fun courses. This trip will not be forgotten and I hope to attend again in the future (if John decides to keep doing this).

Thank you John for twisting my arm in Utah last spring and for all the hard work you put forth to make this happen.

Thank you to all the sponsors and especially RC4WD for all the support over the years, listening to the customers and producing outstanding products!

Thank you to all the people behind the scene who assisted with securing permits, insurance, food, drinks, equipment, porta-potty, etc.

Thank you to those who judged, marshaled, built and maintained courses, that's a tough job!

Thank you Alternative food truck for filling my belly with delicious goodies.

Thank you Rose Point campground for allowing us access to such an awesome spot.

I hope i didn't miss anyone but if I did, I apologize and thank you as well for your contributions.

Finally, I'd like to thank RCCrawler for all the friends I've met through the years. Without it, this chapter of my life would never have been written.

So much went on this weekend and it went by so fast, I'm having a hard time putting words to it all. I wish I lived closer and hope to see you all soon. Again, thank you all for your hospitality and such a warm welcome.

I think that it is appropriate to post this quote that I use a lot in both my business and personal life..

THERE IS NO FAILURE, JUST LESSONS LEARNED...

So true. Great event, Thanks to everyone for ALL their efforts. The vendors supported well, the prize packages were great again this year, and thanks to all the drivers for TORTURING their trucks into wins and fun again this year! The TTC stuff was wild! Great runs with so many vehicles and great driving by great people. "thumbsup"
More fun for the years to come!
