2014 RC4WD East Coast Scale Challenge (August 22-24)

not to beat a dead horse, but can we get an explanation on how the DNF's were calculated in each Class?

And, i just want to say what a great time i had. It was an amazing event and i can't wait to come back next year. John, you put together another great event.

Hey Shane....where did you get this from. :lmao:

From your laptop with my fancy computer phone, after I said " hey, I am posting these up, that cool ". Lol.

On my way back to Arkansas and had a blast at this place and event. Shout out to all involved with it!

DNF's were calculated by adding 20 points to the highest score on that course and then deducting progress.

I actually contacted WarPig on Friday, to make sure I was doing it right.

DNS's were add 30 points.

ok cool. thanks john.

why were the the DNF's so much higher in C3 as compared to C2? or what would make the DNF's that much higher?

So even by finishing all 3 courses someone who only finished 2
And DNF'd 1 could still win.. That doesn't make much sense..

I have Soooo much to say about this. I hope somebody starts a separate thread on this topic alone.

That being said, I had a great time this weekend with everybody and don't want to sidetrack this awesome event thread.

It was cool meeting folks and putting faces to the screen names. Thanks to RC4WD, Rckcrwlr, Rose Point and everybody that had a hand in pulling this event off. "thumbsup"

Even though I ran outa time on all of my runs, I loved this venue!

Thanks soo much you guys, and the sponsors for everything! It was a blast, and I'll be back next year! It was a great experience!

If I did the math right, that would have given me -47 for the 3 courses...Putting me in the top 5 or close to it!!!

John, thank you for all of your efforts in making this event happen! I didn't have a rig to compete with and still had a blast! I feel very fortunate to be able to sponsor an event of this caliber.

Rick (supershafty), Steve, Farmer, Jake, and Mike, I had a great time hanging out with you guys! It was great to get to see some old crawling friends and to meet a bunch of new great people!

I will have a rig ready to compete next year.

Rose Point...you have a super nice place! Also, the maintenance guy (sorry, I never got your name), you need a raise as you worked your assistance off working from daylight to past dark to keep everyone happy.

John, go ahead and put Beef Tubes on your list of sponsors for next year!!! "thumbsup"
