What doesn’t register with you is VP has always done it this way, you don’t change and make all the older products “obsolete”
I learned SAE when growing up in shop class, and I repaired camera’s in the 70’s and 80’s and learned metrics.
What’s neat is …… they all work! Nothing makes either better or worse.

I also had BSA’s in those 70’s so I won’t mention Whitworth fasteners, not metric!

No I get it. Even if it was all metric there would still be different sized hubs and offsets. The only thing we can be certain of is nothing is ever "standard" for long.

Being more efficient and economic are good reasons to use to the same system as the rest of the world. "Because we can" isn't a good reason for well, anything, really.

We use the metric system plenty in the US, especially in industries that deal with the outside world. One is not better/more efficient/more accurate than the other despite what people who are bad at fractions will tell you in the internet, they're just different.

If it's for a crawler you can just use lead weight on any wheel to increase the weight. Wrap it in tape if your worried it will break lose.

Or you can buy wheels that are high mass that don't need more weight.

Nevermind, I could have swore they had the 6lug slw hubs.

Lead wheel weights, we'll steel now I guess is my preferred lazy way of lowering cog.

But low weight makes the car crunchy when it falls off a ledge.

Nothing beats trimming the fat from the top.

They are listed in the 2.2" wheel accessory section of SSD's website - nothing prevents their use on 2.2" wheels.

I'd sell the Vanquish ones, and go this route.

Save yourself a lot of hassle.

39g vs 108g is enough difference for me to try to make these big bitches work. I've got wheels on the way that should solve the problem. If for some reason they don't work, I might go that route. Thanks for the input!

If you want weight dlux makes some massive knuckles I think They would work with any wheel.

Lots of styles, but I don't know if he kept up with some of the newer axles.

Brass knuckles would be awesome, to add more weight just to the front. My axles are metal AR60's made by KYX. It'd be interesting to see if KYX did a good enough job copying the axial AR60 that aftermarket knuckles would be compatible. I don't see why they wouldn't be. I'll check it out.

Here's the vehicle in discussion, so far. I don't have anywhere to put my mamba x, so I'm currently making a metal mount out of a Simpson strong tie L bracket. I'll bolt to the frame rail behind the motor, on the passenger side of the dig servo.

Pretty sure you can swap the c-hubs around on those with all the other aftermarket stuff.

Do those have the ar44 or ar60 diff?

I like the ar60's that have the ar44 diff, they have more clearance, lower gearing and less torque twist.
