what bumper ? do you mean the chassis plates !?I would tack the bumper in place.
the servo clears fine at it's current suspension setting. How are you for clearance on the servo? Looks tight.
Yeah it's close... but that's what was intended.
If I wished to lower the suspension more (mechanically)...
I would need open the forward section of the plate
for necessary servo clearance.
I had to raise the coil-overs back to their original lower/upper mount position(s)
to insure the body's clearance. (just a 'Lil rub) ;-)
Regardless, the suspension will settle statically around 50/50.
So it should still sit low enough to keep upright at angle.
here's to hoping... a few hours will suffice. With the twin batteries you'll be out all day on a single charge.
no matter... I have back up twinzy's ;-)
burly - brawny "thumbsup" (beefy if yer a tube queen) :razz:My suggestion, since you already have crossmembers welded to the frame for strength, is bolt the plates to the crossmembers, that way, if you decide to change something, it'll be easier for maintenance. I'm liking the way the chassis looks now, beefy!"thumbsup"
I'm kinda leaning towards the bolt on idea...
ie: just flipped the upper front tray 180*
and now the sharper edge at each end is rolled down.
Just checked and 180* the rear tray as well.
Maybe that's why I put those bends on the ends ?
Oh well... I ferget... but I think it's better with the bends down.
the bummer...
...drilling holes is a real pita IMO.
Not even sure I have a decent drill bit remaining ?
guess that might be the determining factor :|
