Optic Kit Coming

The wheels are the most disappointing part of the kit IMO. They simply aren't that unique or new.
The plain, retro-esque design combined with the standard hex hardware makes them look like China direct ebay specials. Full scale hardware should make them better but I don't know if they will ever be considered one of my preferred wheel designs.

They are kind of retro looking, which is what they are going for, but they are underwhelming.
Maybe kind of retro, but I love slot mags. Underwhelming is a great way to put it.

I agree 100%. I thought they were Boom Racing wheels the instant I spotted them on the Livestream. Scale hardware would certainly help, but the design is completely uninspiring or, as Col_Sanders put it, underwhelming.

Just so everybody sees what we are talking about, here's a photo of them.

I'll get all scale hardware from locked up. I've used their stuff on all my cars and it looks great. Even on cheap wheels the hardware makes a huge difference imo.
It is amazing how much of a difference scale hardware makes on wheels. I have gotten to where I put it on most of my wheels now.
