Where to shop..ABQ area...

i was there last week and there was one on da shelf my wife was lookin at it.

i may go to abq to check em out again i need new tires and maybe wheels? great place that hobby pros

I would still seriously consider going with a larger rig, though. Can't beat the bang for your buck with the Venom. Only worry I have is parts support but they seem like pretty stout rigs.

Thanks for the looking out bro but size is the biggest factor for me and the Venom is way too big. It has to be small or it's none at all for this particular application. Just not enough space to be going 1/10, heck I'm thinking the Mini is even too big...I keep going back and forth. Maybe if I have enough fun with this one I'll get "the bug" and have to buy a full size rig for full time use, but for right now it's not on the radar. If that time comes I'll let you all know so you can help me decide.

I have until Friday to decide on the mini or the micro...that is when Hobby proz is getting in 3 Mini RTR's (one of each color) and 2 Micro RTR's.

Isn't that the issue for all of us? Sorry, couldn't resist...

But back to the decision at hand, I would really recommend the mini over the micro for the same reasons I would recommend a 2.2 over a Mini.... more capability. You also have a bit of aftermarket parts support for customization (bodies, chassis, etc.) with the Mini so you could modify it if you wanted to. Just my two cents. Try to get out and crawl with us next time anybody gets out and any of us would be glad to let you drive a rig. Look forward to seeing you out on the rocks! "thumbsup"

Thanks everyone! Mini it is! I can't wait until tomorrow. Just hope the wife doesn't burn me at the stake to getting something so big. She's expecting something not much bigger then the cheapo Xmods car I got at Radio Shack.

That's funny. You should see the mess of crawler stuff I've accumulated.... I'm lucky I still get to sleep in the house!
