Yeti XL Aftermarket Thread

Housing is nice, all the parts fit great, no issues with bearing fitment. Hardware or screws are too small IMO. With out using a sealant of some type on the pinion mount to housing flange I see dirt and water in the housing. Just not sold on this thing. The upper mount uses 2 small screws and I can see a possibility of some bent and or ripped out screws with some heavy bashing.

I think for general driving about on 4s they will be fine, but if you drive your YXL like Savage Flux on 6s then I can see them not lasting too well, but tbh most things get beat up on 6s

That set screw is a terrible idea. Wouldnt take much to drill through the end link and put a screw and nut but for that price I shouldn't have to be doing any work to the design

I thought they were threaded with a retaining nut... Solid adjustability would be nice ...Not sold on the grub screw idea .,.

Nope not for me. Set screws Dont work on an scx10, Yeti or Bomber so no way is it going to hold up to this fatty even on 1S. Just my opinion though.

I've eyeballed these for a while thinking that they are a typo.. Either way I ordered them and I'll report back soon..

Hot Racing Aluminum Steering Knuckle Carrier (caster Block/C-hub), Axial Yeti Xl

I saw those a while back but 2 things i found made me also believe it was a typo. Price and the size next to the bolts. The rear lockouts use a 3mm bolt so even of the ones in the picture were 4mm the knuckle is still to small and the camber would be off compared to stock. Could be totally wrong though.
