Put me down for a rear cover!

Just add your name to the list and we'll put your name on one once they come in

Curious, will a Wraith on 1.9s and SCX10 axles have clearance issues with the rear drop-in box? Will pricing be similar to the front or more?

Thanks,
Jon D.

There shouldn't be any clearance issues with the rear box. It will sit on top of the "double T" crossbrace where the stock battery tray is, which will need to be removed for installation of the rear drop box

got my front box in the mail and installed...

its nice, but it didnt fit with my vp panhard bar kit..
had to cut the front off to get it to fit..@3mm off front of box

had to trim the excess off of it to get it to fit down in chassis so i could run my 3s 4500mah

Some pics of your front end showing the box & panhard would be helpful for many (not me Dinky S ohhh yeah.) There have been a few questions on this exact issue (will it work with my panhard?)
If you can get a pic or 2 up please do.

added 2 photos to my post...

if you had the vp servo mount moved further forward it looks like it would work but still be tight..
i cant or dont want to move it forward because of the panhard bar,it would hit the truss smack dab in the center..
hitting those servo mount tabs..thus limiting my upward travel.

Yea guys, I did not consider the panhard mod because it seemed like not too many people have done those (I could be wrong too) as I just have not seen that many rigs with them.

As war as getting rid of that beveled corner, I could have another version of that as well to fit larger batteries.

I did that to make the box not stand out when looking at it from the side and not to have any tire clearance issues.

I think those beveled corners are perfect!
I used that surface to attach my inner fender in the front.
I used this tray to force me into a smaller 2000mah 2s pack & now it all fits under the hood in a solid bowl & the foam under the hood seals it up nicely

Thank you for posting pics, I talked to a couple guys around here that run the VP CMS and they didn't have a clearance issue, but I think its because they got the box and then the CMS kit and adapted the CMS to the box position. As far as battery placement and size, the box does limit the user to the size of battery and running gear and unfortunately I can't help with that but think you came up with a good way of making it work.

Michael, more people are getting into the chassis mount and panhard set up and like a said above, guys are getting the box first and then making the CMS kit work around it.

I think the beveled corner was a good idea and one of our customers that runs bigger batteries heated the corner with a lighter and pushed the battery into the plastic and it molded around the battery it fit well.

All in all, the front of the Wraith can be difficult to work with when placing large batteries and running gear, light and winch controllers, etc, etc. God knows how much time its taken me in the past when building customers rigs and getting EVERYTHING under the hood and into the stock RX box
