While testing Elite against others we found big C Rating trickery

I finally got to run my 3s 1300's last weekend in my xr10 and holy sweet Jesus they are some awesome batteries.

Are the 850s really 6mm thicker than the 1000mAh? I would like to run the 850mAh's but due to how thick they are i think i need to run the 1000mAh's.

I miss your old avatar.
I was thinking the same thing.
I watch the music video every now and then for a reminder. LOL

When will the 850's and 1000's be back in stock?
I have some 1550's in my XR10 right now. They are a little big, but they work. With Christmas coming I want to get some more of the smaller batteries for the gear breaker...

Correct. Maybe like 5.5mm. But close

I miss your old avatar.

I do too, but need to mix it up a little. It will return. It got banned from my local board because some puzzy emailed the mods to have me take it off. Yolandi is awesome though. Love their music.

The 1000's are in stock. The 850s are out though. They look to be leaving China next week. So 1.5-2 weeks????

x2 Got to try them out this weekend, they have really good punch!! Thanks for getting these for us Chris!! I think I may have sold quite a few more packs for you this weekend:)

I'd like to take a minute to give some props to Cheap Battery Packs.

I have been running cheap battery packs.com packs for about six months now and am very impressed. When I did some changes on my BJ Rigs I decided on running a small 860/850 pack and had to go with maxamps due to size. At the time I did not realize that CBP's 850 pack was about the same size as the maxamps 860 due to pic of a 1300 in description. Chris informed me that the pack was actually in the specs I needed to fit, so I ordered a few.

Now I have 3 of each to compare, and here's the kicker. Maxamps 860 packs have 100c "True Rating" right on the pack, but that is c-rating trickery. The CBP packs are "honestly" rated at 25c. The burst from the CBP's is a bit stronger and can be felt when driving. And runtime was a tad longer too even though the mah rating is a tad lower than maxamps.

Just want to let people know my experience with both manufacturers

Maxamps is great, but CBP is better. And more honest with their rating

How can that be true? You just said that a pack of SIGNIFICANTLY lower C rating and slightly smaller capacity out performed it!
