What powers your SCX10?

What gearing is recomoned for a scx10 witha HH BRXL wp and HH torquemaster exoert 27t and novak 55t as a backup

I would go for a 13-15t pinion, with the 27t. I run a 17t with my HH TM pro 30t stays cool for a while and has just the right wheel speed and gobs of torque.

Honestly You wont need the 55t, and it will be too slow to have any fun anyways.

My Honcho's running a Tekin Roc 412, Mamba Max Pro esc, Castle BEC, hardened tranny gears, MIP shafts, Over/Under drive Axial gears, Savox SC-1256 servo...

Recent power upgrade:

Tenshock X211 sensored 2450kv 4 pole with Tekin RS powered by 3s.

Same top speed as my old Trinity 17.5 motor but a lot more torque and smoother too, definitely comparable to the Roc412 at half the price. "thumbsup"

I've gone from a 35T Novak to a T35 Tekin and now running a 13.5T brushless sensored Hobbywing on 3S 2100 miliamp 20c battery. No question the Tekin is the best crawler motor but love the wheel speed of the brushless system! Great for dirt hill climbs! Formula Off Road style.

Re: Please list your SCX10 Motor, Battery, and ESC here!

MMP with pro4 4000kv
Savox 1231sg servo
Castle 10 amp bec set to 6V
Smc 6500mah 2s

At this time a ROC412 3100kv pared to a mmp.
A sweet setup but I'm ordering a Holmes CrawlMaster 16t, I just dont get the low end response I'm looking for from the brush-less motor.
Please dont miss understand, the Roc 412 is a great setup, just to aggressive for this old man.

"What powers your SCX10?"

Well, for the better part of 2 years, stock Axial 27T motors (went through a couple...),but just got one of these in from Brown Santa this week (my first ever hand wound motor "thumbsup") :)

The other 2 SCX10's still have the stockers in them (but it's ok,they're still new/haven't been ran :lmao: )
