What powers your SCX10?

27 Turn axial motor with the XL-5 with lipo cutoff. 2cell 5000mah lipo 20/87. Works great for a trail truck also using the 1.9 Micky Thomson baja claws
 
HPI Q-Base esc (basically an MMP with soldering posts for removable wires :) )- paired with a CC 10a bec @6.8v, Holmes Hobbies 30t Torquemaster Pro motor- geared 16/87, AE (Ace) DS1013 servo, all powered by a 3s 1300mah 40c Sky Lipo and controlled by a Fly Sky GT3B (possibly switching to my DX3S soon to run a winch though).

This set up is slick and pushes this rig through about anything. Tons of torque, no heat, plenty of hill climbing/ mud bogging wheel speed and very reliable. Definitely a tad costly to buy all new though...

My stock esc died for no reason. Not wet or under load, still steers but won't go. IDK. I just bought a FX-R. Heard a lot of good about it. Got a 55T for now. Can't wait to try it out.
 
Newest set up...Integy 35 turn prowound, Traxxas XL-5, Orion 5400 mah 2s carbon lipos and a 12 tooth pinon 56 tooth spur 32 pitch. Love the 32 pitch btw, a lot more tooth surface and gives it a lower "grumbly" sound.
 
12cell 3600mah NIMH battery 2x 6cell , Holmes hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL WP, Titan 550 21T, 23t pinion.
