What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

Good day for my defender, replaced failed ESC, replaced stock steering servo with a 25k for much stronger steering and straightened out the mytrickrc lighting kit wiring so that it works correctly. Good day!

Upgraded my stock steering servo and added a metal servo horn. Reef's RC 422HD.

I have those same wheels and did not spend the time to loctite the screws. On one wheel about half of them have fallen out. Probably not to be replaced, just like in a real truck! lol Spent Sunday at a comp crawl running the X4 through some tough courses and hanging out with a great group of RC enthusiasts!

How did the X4 fare against the competition?

I put these vs4-10 pro tube bumpers on the other day and finally got the truck out. They are great. So much clearance and they almost never get hung up.

Did they fit on the stock mounts? If not, what did you have to do to mount them?

Yes they fit the stock mounts perfectly. I did flip the front mount and then used a front mount on the rear to get some extra clearance. Even then i didnt need to do a whole lot of trimming of the body.

Best part is they are only $14.

We took 2nd and 4th out of 15. The truck performed well and the courses were particularly hard. I couldn't focus and made several careless mistakes. We were all having so much fun that honestly it didn't matter. Good times!

Those look really good!

Relocated my antenna to the front of the receiver box. In the other position it was interfering with the body fitment.
