What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

Here's a shot of what I did to my canyon trails. They are a really great tire. I think they pull better then my Hyrax.

Nice - Thanks Brian! That should keep me busy this coming weekend. Adding CI foams made a night and day difference for me. Comp cut inners with medium outers out back, soft outers up front.

Your welcome. I have been wanting to try CI foams in these tires, but wasn't sure which ones to use. Did you use Lil' Nova's and which size did you use?

Since the "Likes" function has been disabled on the forum (at least for now, seemingly) - I will force my sometimes lazy fingers to post up that your siping job is the best I have ever seen on any RC tire.

I am very picky about tire tread designs, having a pretty severe rubber fetish (shut up guys...) and normally just can't deal with the Canyon Trail tires - but they look FINE done up all sipey-like!

That must have taken some real patience and a steady hand.

Major props!

Hey thanks! It took a little while and as I was cutting I was hoping that I wasn't wasting my time. I love my Hyrax and it is my go to tire, but after cutting these I was really impressed. They pulled lines that only my Hyrax would normally pull. I guess I'll see how they do once they get some wear on them. I may be just a fluke, but for now I like them.

Powershift rc taillights installed in stock bumper. Perfect fit.

I’ve also found a way to use both the traxxas light kit and my 12v bar and tails as well as use the power shift switch/booster...I think.

Last night I installed the BowHouseRC high clearance skid. Couple holes were off but just needed persuasion to line it all up. Haven’t driven it yet to make sure the mesh is still spot on but will and report back.

I really think you have made a masterpiece out of that Defender, my friend...

Seriously intense engine bay area - with this, the Pro-line Metric body (as expensive as it is) and the new Axial Wraith 1.9, I see opening hoods with engine detail as a real upcoming trend in the world of RC crawling!

VERY well done!

I "LIKE" it, a great deal.

im gonna try to make a very simple firewall with styrene to cover the wires in the back its gonna be very simple and if i have room i might get few extra stuff like a battery, coils, and few other things to make it look better.

That is one of the best looking scale trucks I have seen. I hope mine can come out half as perfect as yours has. Keep up the good work and I will be looking for a bunch of links for the parts you used. (hint hint) lol.
