Awesome! I run the same wheels and I was wondering if the Super Swamper TSL XL's would work on those. RC4WD says they only guarantee their wheels will work with their tires.

Love the way these wheels seal up the tire too, no air in or out so if set properly no need to punch holes in your tires. :)

Just had my first go at a scale snorkel for my JK using leftover crap from my 7 Axial kits before this and I dont mean to blow my own horn but I think it turned out great!! Beats the hell out of paying $30-40 for an aftermarket version!...

Consists of:
Old clear rubber hose aged hard & formed with heat.
Heat shrink tubing
An Axial light bucket, lense and a filter decal from my EXO sheet.
Short alloy links attached to the bucket and used as a.male insert into the tubing.

Welll?

Did a bit of testing on my freshly finished JK for maybe 5 minutes then my4 year old son demanded his turn to drive, so I watched & taught him how to drive a scaler and how to use a pistol grip tx, hands down the most expensive toy he has ever played with!

I used the VP omf 1.9 rings on these wheels. And they hold great"thumbsup" I did vent my tires 3 2mm holes in the center of the tread.

Heres a link for info on this wheel/tire combo

Threw the lid on her today to determine if I like it better than the cage, and trying to think of a way to attach the shell without screwing it down....

I too was not happy with removing four screws to change out a battery. I cut out the rear window. The spare tire pretty much covers the window regardless.

Now I just remove the body clip for the swing out tire to access the body pins on the fuel cell. Entire body with top stays in tact for removal.

Thats a hell of an idea shift, only thing is I have the tough armor rear bumper and its so simple to swing the spare out.. I was going to try maybe a battery tray or something more discrete with velcro tape on that amd the shell for easy peel off action.. I just dont know..

Got some rock lights installed today.

Rear... I used a 3 5050LED light set up, paid about $5.00 for it at the elec. store.

I used a piece of angle plastic to mount the light since it was wider than the frame rails. Throws off some good light.

Front is also a 5050LED strip.

I also salvaged a couple of the light from my G6 light rack. These will get LED's as well in the near future.

That will work too. A friend of mine used Velcro on the top cap. He just peels it off and pops it back on. He said in a roll it can shift on him but it is easy to put back and he has no screws or holes in the cap.

I would try the Velcro first as it does not modify the cap at all. If you are not happy with it you can screw it on the roll cage and then cut out the rear window.

it can be a bit tedious to put the body clips in through the window I must admit. It is less tedious than removing four screws however. ;)

Decided to clean old grease off axles and degrease them with marine grease. Next tomorrow I will grease the tranny or if I have time might just get to it tonight.

painted up my honcho body with my custom flat deck, took one look at the completed project and hate it ugh

Did some paining of my LR3 hardbody. Might get it done tonight (giving handpainting a try for a change, as opposed to airbrush). Wheels/tires came yesterday, so can get out on my land soon.
