Replaced the original Honcho body with a ProLine F250. Painted it with Pactra Kryptonite Gold but it wasn't what I expected. The color is growing on me though. However, I am disappointed with the quality of the body in the lower rear corners as pointed out by Average Joe's when he did his video review of this ProLine body. It wasn't noticeable at first but after the paint was done, it became more visible. It's as if the corners were crushed in the mold when the shell was made. I'll give ProLine a call and see what they can do. Overall, I do like the change in look of the Honcho.

Spent about 3.5 hours today hand painting 5 proline 1.9 beadlock wheels to give it a "out of the norm" feel to them, Im thinkin they turned out 100% better looking, and will look great with PB Mad Beasts mounted on them!!

Not sure why I didn't get these crawler innovations foams before now, but what a difference over stock foams.

Lowered my CoG. I want a cookie!
This is only a test. I repeat, this is only a test. 3s Saddle paks 100c @ 2000mAh ea. Make's decent wheel well's and is light weight.

Got her finished back up today. Installed the Robinson Racing solid output in the trans and finished rusting my wheels and got the tires installed with the Crawler Innovations foams.

Here's a picture of how the wheels turned out, they are the old style RC4WD 6 lug steel wheels. The inside always bothered me because they were solid white and they didn't look like real wheels so I painted the insides flat black and then rusted the outside parts (front and back).

I never could find a write up for rusting wheels (just generic weathering techniques for other stuff) so I figured it out and I plan on making a how to guide when I'm not posting from my phone.

Last time out I rolled down a 25' embankment and broke off my front bumper mount and both shock towers😁

Replace shock towers with integy aluminum ones and Strc front bumper mount. Had a good day playing with the guys today
