What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

Ran around on the new motor. Nothing too fun just a quick run. I need to clean up my home track and continue working on the Honcho.

Fender liners in (did them in 2 stages, ran out of plasti-dip so the back fenders are BBQ paint) but not noticable when the body is on.

Also threw together 2 aluminum plates to mount batteries to the skids a little cleaner than just velcrow them to the frame.

And lastly, ran my own LED wiring to yellow LED's in the bumper as parking lights plugged straight into the RX.

Id like to see it got any pics?

the bumper lift i made is out of a top of a water jug. tried it for a easy cheap solution. i used existing screws and and bolts from my steering link kit.
after some running of the truck, i feel like it wont last much longer need to find a more sturdy solution.

hope this helps

Didn't really do anything to the scx today but.... i did get in my Weller WLC100 solder station, 30 5050 smd leds, .02 styrene sheets and to top it all off my RCCrawler.com sticker sheet came in from RPP. Still waiting on some 3D printed items and some resistors! I'm getting excited. Ready to create some badassery!

I ordered a new one....lol I couldn't help myself..I had to have a G6 kit.So I talked to the boys over at RPP and got some stuff headed my way.The G6 kit, a new axial rx/tx, a winch and a lift kit I got for free with the G6 kit,And a Vanquish front bumper/cms mount."thumbsup"

Congrats.

RC4WD tough armor front and rear bumpers. Headlights and marker lights. Axial wheel weights added to the front wheels. Also got my RcCrawler stickers put on

Yesterday, actually...

First I drove it around in the fresh powder.
With tire chains, it just tears through the snow. Looking at its tracks, you can really see where the chains are digging in.
A little over 2" deep seems to be where it starts to get stuck.

Then I painted the reservoirs on the shocks to add a little "bling".

Lastly, I made a few scale items:

Roll bar padding around the driver's seat

Aluminum license plate, rear

Steel antenna mount

scale 3' Firestik antenna

On a side note, my build thread still isn't showing up. It said it was submitted for moderator approval a few days ago, and I haven't seen anything since.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have both velcro and rare earth magnets sitting here...would have to make some brackets. TINY, which strength velcro are you using?

My lr3 body just arrived, so i'll be doing some messing round with it later to make some body mounts, hook up/fix the lights, and alo some styrene work on a small missing chunk. Once it's all installed, my scx will be exactly where I want it :).

Everyday run of the mill..But heavy duty would probably do the best.
