What did you do to you SCX-10 today?

went to the mailbox and was disappointed I still don't have my spools..so looked at my axles all apart still on the work bench.

Spent 4 hours on the rig today. Got the headlights and taillights installed and the outside of the top painted flat black (finally). Lights are awesome and loving the progression of the build!

Hired a driver.
Seems like a decent clean-cut guy, but showed up for his first day without a shirt. Who does that? Anyway, I gave him an old t-shirt and the keys to the Rubi.

I also got my CB installed. Albeit rather simple, for my first attempt at using styrene, I think it came out alright.

And finally I installed the rear links I built.

Why would you put a Traxxas sticker on it? Thats like driving a Ford with a Chevy emblem on it...
Maybe he's running a VXL setup. Maybe he's running a Traxxas rx/tx.Then again maybe he's just silly like that.....lol

I was wondering how long it would be before it was noticed!!! It's actually powered by an FXR with a 35t and Spectrum radio.

Well, I'm not sure! Probably for the same reason I put an SCX sticker on my Slayer Pro, I'm silly like that

Built a dead simple bikini top. On the plus side, I won't care must if it gets trashed in a roll-over.
I'll make a decent once I find the perfect material. Ideas, anyone?

I waited.....I should have paid for the better shipping from RPP......lol I just used the free fedex ground and it seems to be taking forever.

Not technically today, but did a simple bed cage, new front bumper and tow shackles

I try to stay away from shipping with FedEx whenever possible. I prefer USPS which has been good to me.
Well I blew my budget on a kit and parts. So when it came time for shipping. I had to stick with the free.I should have had a bigger budget....lol
