I took it out for a 2 hour run yesterday and today. I accidentally flipped it over in the creek trying to climb the bank. Thankfully, the Trail Honcho body kept it afloat until I could pick it up. I only got a few water droplets on the stuff inside. After getting home today, I took the wheels off and cleaned the junk out of the axles. I washed the body too. I can't get enough of this SCX10.

I have the Axial SCX10 G6. Installed STRC front and rear shock hoops and H brace. Also installed MIP Driveshafts. Waiting for some more parts that should be in tomorrow.

i ordered my scx10 honcho rtr, battery and charger. cant wait to start playing around with this truck and make it look somewhat similar to my 02 4runncer that i use for rock crawling.

My over/unders came in today, gonna pair them up with two new Gripfab lockers and I'll be ready for this weekend!

New to the forum so hello to everyone. Installed a new overdrive ring and pinion in the front and the standard ratio hd ring and pinion in the rear. Also decided that my G6 needed a little better power train so I installed a new Tekin fx-r pro and 35t pro hand wound motor. As soon as i took it out top do a little test run to make sure everything was going to be up to par I snapped the rear axle.

mirrored the transmission lowered the ride height. Bought this truck used and i'm not sure what upgrades have been done how many of the transmission gears should be metal on a stock SCX?

I believe it's two. Top and bottom middle is plastic. I could be wrong though.

I replaced my. Dingo bumper with a metal bumper from RC4wd I had to drill a few holes for my winch plate and a couple on the sides so it tucks in further on the frame .

Pros :
better approach angle
Stiffened up the chassis
It slides up rocks instead of pressing into them like the plastic one did

Cons:

Wife was not happy I spent close to 40 on a bumper

Turned my sliders into running boards/sliders.
Went from this:

To this...With a little heat and flipping over the sliders in the mounts.
